Yanshou Bridge

Yanshou bridge, built in 1127, is a 14 hole stone beam bridge, 93.5 meters long, 2.6 meters wide, 8.5 meters high and 7.5 meters long. After nearly 900 years of ups and downs, it is now a provincial cultural relics protection unit. The bridge across the Yanshou River, majestic and straight, a stone tablet at the end of the bridge, is Xinghua Zhijun Lin Qingyuan in the second year of song shaoding (1229), who wrote "Yanshou bridge". The existing tablet was rebuilt in 1880. In the villages near Shouxi Park, there are many cultural relics protection units with strong historical and cultural atmosphere and excellent buildings with nostalgic flavor. In the process of urban development, these cultural relics protection units are well protected. Yanshou bridge is like a rainbow. It sits on the stream with the breeze and the water shining. The bridge deck is paved with five bluestones. Stone lions with different shapes sit on the stone railings on both sides of the bridge. It basically keeps the whole picture of the Ming Dynasty, and reproduces the beautiful landscape of "stone lions are not afraid of wind and rain, and fishing rods have their own interests". At present, motor vehicles are not allowed to pass through the bridge, and the ancient bridge is protected.

Zhuangyuanjing

One hundred meters south of Yanshou bridge is Zhuangyuan well, also known as Xu well. It is said that the well was built in 877 for Xu Yin, the number one scholar in the Tang Dynasty. The author saw on the spot that the ancient well was well preserved. The well was surrounded by a round melon ridge with a diameter of 3 meters. The well water was clear and it would not dry for a thousand years. The octagonal fence around the well was built by later generations. It is exquisite, simple and generous. In 2004, this millennium old well was listed in the second batch of cultural relics protection units in Chengxiang District. Shouxi park is becoming more and more beautiful, and tourists are also increasing. This millennium old well will become one of the important tourist attractions. Next, the village will renovate the environment around the ancient well to protect this ancient well with rich cultural heritage. At present, Shouxi park is being constructed in an orderly manner according to the principle of "integrating the city into nature, allowing residents to see mountains, water and nostalgia".
