Daxikeng Park
Jiangmen daxikeng park is located in the west of Jiangmen downtown, adjacent to Jiangmen Wanda Square, Jiangmen Qishi scenic spot Park and longzhoushan park. It is about 4 kilometers away from the urban area, with a mountain forest area of more than 3000 mu and a reservoir water surface area of 380 mu. It is known as "natural oxygen bar" because of its high forest coverage and air anion content.
Introduction to scenic spots
Daxikeng park is located in the northwest of Qunxing village, Huanshi sub district office, Pengjiang district, formerly known as Qunxing daxikeng reservoir. The park includes mountains with a total area of about 670 hectares, water surface area of about 25 hectares, and total reservoir capacity of 820000 cubic meters. Together with Donghu Park and Baishuidai Park, it is known as the three "green lungs" of Jiangmen Central City.
Pengjiang district started Qunxing park. A 5.8 km long road around the lake has been built. Huang Xiuxian, Wang Xiuxian and Mo Xiuxian are equipped with solar street lamps, clear maps and road guides, rest platforms are set every 500 meters, and a number of infrastructure facilities such as toilets, rain shelters, pavilions and viewing platforms have been set up. A new parking lot with 180 small parking spaces has been built.
There is a 5.8km Greenway in the park, with different landscape areas, such as Rhododendron Garden, Liquidambar forest, palm landscape forest, precious tree species garden, subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest, etc. In the scenic area, there are stone rooms, dormitories and farm tools houses built by the educated youth in the 1970s when they went to the countryside to reclaim the forest farm. The discovery of Juren stele and stone pagoda on the top of Poji mountain adds rich cultural color to the tourism resources of daxikeng park.
