The fairy lake botanical garden is located in Liantang, Shenzhen, Luohu District, on the eastern suburb of Liantang. Fossil forest

More than 500 silicified trees from Liaoning, Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia have been collected and introduced. At that time, it was the most prosperous period in the evolutionary history of cones. The tall trees were buried under the stratum due to the intense crustal movement, and formed fossils through silicification. So far, it is the only large ex situ fossil forest in the world. Shade plant area
The shade plant area covers an area of 40000 square meters, with more than 1000 shade loving plants, including ferns, Crassulaceae, Begoniaceae, Acanthaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Araceae, Liliaceae, Araceae, bromelidaceae and Orchidaceae. Cycads are a group of gymnosperms with ancient origins and remains. The study of Cycas can provide a basis for the study of paleoclimate, paleogeography and flora evolution. Cycas is an important ornamental plant with important economic value. Cycads were collected in Shenzhen Xianhu botanical garden since 1988. Cycads garden was established in 1994. On December 18, 2002, national cycads Germplasm Resources Protection Center was officially established. The center covers an area of more than 30000 square meters, with fountains, Wannian Pavilion and other scenic spots.
