Hejiachong red tourism area
Hejiachong is located in the Dabie Mountain area at the junction of Henan and Hubei provinces. It is 35km away from Xinyang City in the west, 130km away from Wuhan City in the South and 340km away from Zhengzhou City in the north. Hejiachong is an administrative village in Tiebu Township, Luoshan County, covering an area of 20 square kilometers with a population of 1200. The scenic spot is surrounded by mountains in the East, North and south, 8.6km away from Lingshan exit of Beijing Zhuhai Expressway in the west, 40km away from Luoshan County in the north, 2km away from Tiebu township government, and in the same tourist belt with provincial scenic spot, national Jigong Mountain scenic spot in Xinyang, and Xinxian County, the revolutionary capital of Hubei, Henan and Anhui.
The red scenic spots connected with he Jiachong include Qingpeng, the former site of the 28th army of the Red Army, Longchi, the former site of pengxindian war of the 25th army of the Red Army, Lingshan temple and Liantang, the former site of Li Xiannian's Lingshan conference. In addition, he Jiachong also has the former site of the Soviet government, the "he Jiachong Bayi hope primary school" inscribed by Comrade Jiang Zemin, the former site of Linggang battle of Red Army commander 25, jiangjunshi, Red Army cave and other red spots.
Hejiachong mountain farm covers an area of 27000 mu, 960 mu of arable land, 3300 mu of Cunninghamia lanceolata, 6400 mu of chestnut, 320 mu of tea, 100000 sticks of edible fungi, and more than 20000 mu of other timber and fuel forests, with a forest coverage rate of 75%.
He Jiachong is a red land. As early as 1926, the Communist Party of China established the peasant association here. The Red Guard was established in 1929. In 1932, the Fourth Front Army of the red army withdrew from the west, and the 25th army of the Red Army and the Northeast Hubei provincial Party committee persisted in the struggle here. On November 16, 1934, the 25th army of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army started the long march from he Jiachong. During the three-year guerrilla war, he Jiachong served as the headquarters and hospital of the 25th Red Army. During the Anti Japanese War, he Jiachong became a part of the Anti Japanese base area in Henan Hubei border region. In 1996, he Jiachong was approved by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit. In 1997, it was identified as the patriotic education base of Henan Province. Xu Qianqian, Li Xiannian, Liu Huaqing, Cheng Zihua, Guo Shushen and Liu Zhen, the leaders of the party and the state, wrote inscriptions in person. He Jiachong has become an important revolutionary historical monument.
