Shuimu mountain is one of the earliest Buddhist holy places in China. It is the ninth generation founder of Chinese Zen Buddhism, the world's first son and grandson style relic Pagoda Forest holy land, the excavation site of Buddhist relic, the royal temple of Nanzhao state and Dali state. In 813 A.D., the king of Nanzhao advised Long Sheng to go to Shuimu mountain to build a temple. Since then, the ancestors of Buddhism, monks gathered, thousands of converts, at its peak up to 3000 monks and 800 nuns.
