Shanghai wind power science museum is located in Shanghai Binhai Forest Park on the coast of the East China Sea. It mainly includes sailing boats, water lifting windmills, grinding windmills and other models. It enables us to understand the history of our ancestors using wind energy. At present, it is the first wind power science museum in China and even in the world.

Shanghai wind power science and Technology Museum is located in the science museum covering an area of more than 1400 square meters. Visitors can learn about the history of our ancestors using wind energy from sailing boats, water lifting windmills, grinding windmills and other models. They can also see wind turbine models with different forms and principles all over the world, such as flying windmills, solar tower hot air windmills and so on. Visitors can also learn about the power of wind by playing games such as windmills, and learn about wind and wind power from interactive multimedia all over the venue.

Shanghai Wind Power Science Museum officially opened on March 28, 2006, which is the first wind power science education base in China. It has a total of two floors, exhibition area of more than 800 square meters, as a professional science and technology venues. Shanghai wind power science and Technology Museum is composed of four exhibition areas: "energy warning", "wind and wind energy", "wind power", "wind power and US".
Through the application of a large number of high-tech exhibition items such as multimedia, virtual experiment software and interactive participatory exhibition items, the whole venue makes people fully realize the necessity of developing green energy of wind power and the importance of protecting the earth resources and human living environment.
