On October 14, 2008, it read: "with the joint approval of the Ministry of environmental protection and the National Tourism Administration, China's first National Park was officially established in Tangwanghe, Heilongjiang Province."
After receiving the approval, Liu Xuejin, the head of Tangwanghe District, immediately organized a mobilization meeting of 1000 people in the District Cultural Palace. Standing on the stage, Liu Xuejin was a little excited. He read aloud: "as Tangwanghe people, we should love our home and protect the ecology of our country." He personally sent the proposal to everyone. "The people who came here were also very excited. Their place of residence became a national park. They were very proud and they all followed me to shout." At that moment, Liu Xuejin was unforgettable.
In 1872, Yellowstone National Park, the first National Park in the world, was established. Since then, national parks have developed rapidly in the world, and now nearly 10000 national parks have been established in more than 200 countries and regions.
According to the popular interpretation in western countries, National Park refers to the natural areas that need special protection, management and utilization in order to protect the integrity of one or more typical ecosystems and provide places for ecotourism, scientific research and environmental education.
Today, more than 100 years later, China has the first National Park in the true sense -- Heilongjiang Tangwanghe National Park, which is also the only national park in China. As soon as the news was announced, Tangwang River, located in the northernmost part of China's territory, became famous overnight.

The two peaks are 26.13 meters and 17.97 meters high respectively, only about 35-45 cm apart, forming a straight up and down gap, which can only allow one person to pass sideways. The linear sky is formed by the tensile fracture (joint) and weathering of geological movement. It is the peak forest type granite landscape in the gentle terrain area of the hillside, which is different from the peak forest and peak cluster on the mountain top and ridge. It rises from the flat ground, tall and straight, bold and unconstrained, magnificent, and is the best of the granite forest landscape.
Zhenhai general is formed by the fracture, rock avalanche and weathering. It's like a general with a high hat and a sword to defend this magical forest.
A year ago, China approved the construction of its first National Park, Tangwanghe National Park in Heilongjiang Province. A year has passed. How is the construction progress of the only national park in China? Recently, the reporter went to the south foot of Xiaoxing'an Mountain to visit this primeval forest area known as "hometown of Korean pine". "Give me ten years, Tangwanghe will be known all over the world," Liu Xuejin, head of Tangwanghe District, told reporters in an exclusive interview
Features of scenic spots
Each cubic centimeter of air contains 50000 oxygen ions
The National Park area designated by the Ministry of environmental protection and the National Tourism Administration covers almost the whole Tangwanghe district. According to Ma Shengli, "the total area of the region is about 2153 square kilometers, with a population of nearly 40000. The approved Park covers an area of 2153.51 square kilometers. "
Tangwanghe district is located at the south foot of Xiaoxing'an Mountains. It is a district under the jurisdiction of Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province. It is 100 kilometers away from Yichun city. Tangwang River is a mountainous area with high mountains and dense trees. There are precious tree species such as Korean pine, larch and spruce fir. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was the place where the ethnic minorities such as Olunchun lived and hunted. "The vegetation coverage rate here is more than 99.8%, and the air contains about 50000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter. It is a natural oxygen bar." Ma Shengli said a long string of numbers fluently with pride that he could not hide.
The most important scenic spot of Tangwanghe National Park, Linhai Qishi scenic spot, is only 10 minutes' drive from Tangwanghe City, which is also open to tourists. "After the construction of the whole national park, we will have two ring roads and ten scenic spots." Ma Shengli said.
After buying a 90 yuan ticket, you can walk into the primeval forest areas of northern China, touch the towering trees, and taste the natural stone forest formed over hundreds of millions of years. At the entrance of the scenic spot, there are several signs: "National Forest Park", "5A scenic spot", "National Park", etc.
national park
Compared with the familiar forest parks and nature reserves, National Park is still a new term in China. "National Park is not only different from strict nature reserves, but also different from general tourist attractions. In contrast, national parks usually have the functions of protection, entertainment and enriching the people. " Tianjin Davos peak tourism planning and design institute undertakes the planning task of Tangwanghe National Park. In the first draft, it defines "National Park" like this.
Nature reserves focus on protection, and forest parks focus on play. In the mind of George Catlin, the American artist who first proposed the concept of "National Park", the "National Park" is more like a primitive paradise. "They can be protected, as long as the government establishes a national park through some protection policies, in which there are people and animals, everything is in the original state, reflecting the beauty of nature.".
As early as before Tangwanghe, there were many scenic spots in the name of "National Park" in China, such as the Pudacuo National Park in Shangri La, Yunnan Province, which was established in 2007, and the Meili Snow Mountain National Park, which has just been in operation. But in fact, these two parks are established by the local government, and are not really national parks in the true sense.
Yunnan Pudacuo National Park has beautiful scenery, with large areas of natural pastures, alpine lakes and primitive forest areas. On the desk of district head Liu Xuejin, there is a book "the eyes of Shangri La: planning and construction of Pudacuo National Park". Some time ago, Liu Xuejin took the team to Pudacuo and bought this book for reference.
So why did you choose Tangwanghe as the first National Park in China? Instead of directly choosing pudatso, who has more than two years of operation experience?
