Historical evolution

On May 26, 1956, it was established with the approval of the State Council and was named Aviation School of Civil Aviation Administration of China.

On September 22, 1956, with the approval of the Ministry of national defense, it was renamed the 14th Aviation School of the Chinese people's Liberation Army.

On October 25, 1963, by the decision of the air force and civil aviation administration, it was renamed China Civil Aviation advanced aviation school.

On May 19, 1971, the air force decided to rename the school as the 14th Aviation School of the Chinese people's Liberation Army.

On October 11, 1980, in accordance with the spirit of the relevant decisions of the State Council and the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of education renamed the school as China Civil Aviation College, which was listed in the national college list.

On December 15, 1987, with the approval of the State Education Commission, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed China Civil Aviation Flight College.
