Jixi museum is located in the west section of Wenhua Road, Jiguan District, Jixi City. It is a modern building. Jixi museum was started in October 1999, the civil engineering was basically completed in November 2001, and opened to the outside world on October 1, 2004, with a total area of 4600 square meters and a total investment of nearly 10 million yuan.

Jixi City Museum Jixi City Museum has four floors, the first, second and third floors are exhibition area, and the fourth floor is office area and warehouse. The total area of the exhibition hall is about 2500 square meters. The exhibition hall on the west side of the first floor is Jixi City Planning Model Exhibition Hall, and the east side is temporary exhibition hall; the east side of the second floor is Jixi historical relics exhibition hall, and the west side is Jixi ancient animal fossil exhibition hall; the east side of the third floor is Jixi modern history exhibition hall, and the west side is Jixi natural resources exhibition hall. Jixi museum uses a large number of cultural relics, photos, pictures and other physical exhibits. Through the organic combination of classic exhibition arrangement and modern exhibition arrangement concept, it pays attention to the application of modern high-tech achievements in the exhibition and display, and vividly displays Jixi's long history and rich resources to the audience.

Jixi historical relics display: it mainly displays the relics and relics left by people in the process of life and production in Jixi area from the Neolithic Age 6000 years ago to 1860 years ago. Through the display of these relics and relics, it roughly outlines the development history of ancient culture in Jixi area. It highlights the historical status of Jixi Manchu nationality's birthplace and the dawn of Oriental civilization. The long history of Jixi area is proved by the display of the bone artifacts of the Neolithic xinkailiu site, the jade artifacts of the daobeishan cemetery, the stone artifacts of the Wulong site in the Han and Wei dynasties, the ancient city of daguomaoshan, Anxing and xiaosipingshan in the Bohai Sea, Liao and Jin Dynasties.
