brief introduction
Take history as a mirror to know the rise and fall. The establishment of Liuhe May 7th cadre school history museum, the first "May 7th" cadre school in China, is a mirror for that special period. The biggest building of the farm in those years was the cadre school. In the exhibition hall, the most striking miniature landscape from the left was the site of the "May 7th" cadre school in those years. It was a regular courtyard. At that time, it was the largest building of Liuhe farm. At that time, Liuhe farm was sparsely populated with fewer buildings. There were only 9 cadres, 97 farm workers and 232 family members. The buildings of the farm at that time were also scattered bungalows. Therefore, the courtyard, with a building area of 5000 square meters and surrounded by eight red brick houses, could provide accommodation for the leaders of the May 7th cadre school and the first batch of more than 100 students. It became the largest building in Liuhe farm.

The origin of "May 7th" cadre school
According to the relevant information of the exhibition hall, Liuhe "May 7th" cadre school is the product of "Cultural Revolution". On January 31, 1967, the "rebels" in Heilongjiang seized power and announced that the personnel establishment would be reduced by three-quarters compared with the original provincial organs. The reduced personnel can be enriched at the grass-roots level or transferred to lower levels for labor. In late March, after on-the-spot investigation and repeated argumentation, the "rebel group" of the former provincial Party committee decided to set up a "May 7th" cadre school in Liuhe farm to arrange the cadres to work. On May 7, the provincial Commission for reform held a meeting of 10000 people to send off the first batch of cadres who were transferred to lower levels. On May 8, the first batch of students entered the school, took an oath in front of the school, and hung up the sign of "Liuhe Wuqi Cadre School of Heilongjiang Provincial Revolutionary Committee". More than 10000 people were trained in 11 years. More than a month after the establishment of Liuhe "May 7th" cadre school, the leaders of the school reform committee reported to the provincial reform committee on the situation since the school was established. The provincial reform committee approved and transmitted the report to the local and municipal reform committees, and reported it to the Central Committee. On September 30, 1968, after seeing the briefing of "May 7th cadre school going out a new way for the revolutionization of government organs", he immediately gave instructions on this. According to statistics, during the period of running the school, more than 1300 units and more than 18000 people visited Liuhe, and the "May 7th" cadre school with Liuhe as the "model" sprung up all over the country.
