Heyuan Taishan is located in the east of Heyuan Town, Jinxi County, 35 kilometers away from the county. There are lush peaks, luxuriant forests, deep canyons and waterfalls. At present, it has not been developed and maintains a relatively primitive ecological environment. Since 2010, local villagers have publicized and opened up two mountaineering routes and two river tracing routes. Now mount Heyuan has gradually become a good place for outdoor sports, tourism and leisure.
As Heyuan Taishan is not developed and there is no infrastructure in the mountain, we should pay special attention to safety when playing, especially not to enter the mountain alone. Sometimes there is no mobile phone signal in the mountains, so it's better to have local people as guides when entering the mountains for the first time. These people have received a lot of tourists and experienced guides.
At present, there is no special parking lot in Heyuan village. Five to seven cars can be parked at the gate tower, and one bus can be parked at the Jiugong Temple of the Qing Dynasty. If you drive directly to Dongfeng Canyon, you can park about 6 cars. There is no open space to park in Wangjiashan gorge, so we can only park a few cars by the side of the road.
