Clementi made the quadrangle piano in the early 19th century, which is the world's largest and most sonorous. The double keyboard clavichord made by piano maker Shu Nan in 1906 has four sets of strings, eight pedals, two layers of keys, and the black and white keys are reversed. In addition, there is a royal piano with three crowns in it in the museum. It was made in 1878 by bode, and its legs are "s" shaped. It is a street art The handcranked Street piano and the most complicated organ in the world. Many pianos have gone through the two world wars, and the candlestick lighting as a decoration has a history of more than 100 years. A visit to the piano museum is equivalent to a tour of the world piano development history.
An expensive and fully automatic "hinas" musical instrument made in the United States in 1928 plays works of Beethoven, Chopin and Brahms realistically with rolls of perforated Guqin scores. It becomes the background music of the museum and accompanies the surf of Gulangyu. There is also a piano, which was burned into two pieces by a big fire, and then linked up, becoming a piano that can't be played in the piano museum.
On October 31, 2003, Gulangyu ushered in its first pipe organ. The 1872 giant pipe organ has 80 sound plugs, nearly 3000 sound pipes and four layers of keys. It takes four containers to transport all the components. The installation of this organ is huge. It takes one and a half years to make every sound tube produce beautiful music.
