The total planning area of Baiyun Lake is 2964.15 mu, including 1597.17 mu of water area, 112.39 mu of island area, 1254.59 mu of green space and 8183 meters of lakeshore length
Baiyun Lake, Guangzhou (completed by April 2011), extends to South China North Road in the north, Hubin Road in the east of Huakuai phase III under construction in the west, Fushan Village and Huanjiao village in the south, Xiamao village in the East, covering an area of more than 3000 mu, covering Xiamao, Huanjiao, Dalang, Jiaoxin, Hongxing and Dagang villages in Shijing Town, Baiyun District. Baiyun Lake project was officially started on December 22, 2006, which belongs to the first phase of northern water system construction. Through the establishment of Guanghe pumping station, the water is lifted from the water intake on the north side of Guanghe bridge in Zhujiang waterway, and reaches Baiyun Lake through the diversion canal on the north side of South China Express trunk line. After the completion of the first phase project of the northern water system, 1 million cubic meters of live water can be introduced into Baiyun Lake from the Pearl River channel every day. The live water can not only directly scour the Shijing River, but also directly replenish 20 rivers in the north from Baiyun Lake. Through the communication between rivers, the water quality of more than 60 rivers can be improved.
Sports & Leisure
According to the overall planning and design scheme, Baiyun Lake not only has the functions of water conservancy projects such as water quality testing center and sluice management room, but also has places for citizens to play, such as liumai Qingyuan square, shady square, shady lawn and leisure center. In the southeast of Baiyun Lake, there are basketball court, tennis court and other sports and leisure places.
At the same time, in the "greenway", whether it is running or cycling, there is a unique scene.
