Wangcunkou ancient town

The town is an important transportation fortress in the southwest of Suichang. It is connected with Quzhou by water and Longquan, Jiangshan and Pucheng by land. Wangcunkou is also a part of Longgu tanli, a key tourism link in our county.

Wangcunkou ancient town, located in the southwest of Suichang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the east foot of Jiulong National Nature Reserve, Dushan village, a provincial historical and cultural reserve in the north, nanjianyan and Shenlong Valley in the East, Chongshan in the South and Wuxi River in the West. The Guanchuan river passes through the border from east to west and joins the Wuxi river here.

Red Resources

Red tourism is rich in resources. Many revolutionary sites have been named as patriotic education bases and cultural relics protection units at provincial, municipal and county levels. There are still some historical sites and revolutionary sites, such as the Qing Dynasty's ancient architecture Tianhou palace, Hongji bridge, Caixiang temple, the former site of Tingjin division headquarters and the Qing Dynasty's ancient street.

Today, six provincial cultural security units are still preserved here, including the former site of the March division's Bayi oath meeting, the Tianhou palace, the meeting site of the March division's mass meeting, the Hongji bridge, the former site of the Soviet government's Caixiang temple, and the former site of the March division's headquarters, and the exhibition hall of the struggle history of the March division of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army has been opened. The revolutionary memorial buildings of Qianjin division, which are composed of these revolutionary sites, general Suyu's Mausoleum and Red Army memorial Pavilion in baihejian, were listed as patriotism education bases in Zhejiang Province in 2001 and become a major scenic spot of red tourism in Southwest Zhejiang.

The patriotic education base in wangcunkou has become a red fortune. Local students have set up a young pioneers squadron named after the ancestors who fought in wangcunkou. The school has trained a number of small red guides to pass on the revolutionary spirit from generation to generation. The local government strives to build the red tourism brand of wangcunkou and build the red ancient town into a "famous tourism town". Now, wangcunkou, the ancient red town, has received 200000 tourists.
