geographical environment
Sanxi temple is located in meizigou, Tumen Town, Deyang, 7.5 kilometers away from the urban area. It was built in the reign of Dazhong Xiangfu in the Northern Song Dynasty. The founder of the temple, elder Yuchuan, had an extraordinary vision. He built the temple between the mountain and the lake, and the Qingliu green tent. The Guangshan mountain behind the temple is the great Pengshan mountain. It falls down in a vein. The water flows around the sand, gathers the eaves, and the tiger turns the piano. The eight sceneries around the temple are extremely lovely. The towering Phoebe and gingko shade the sun, and the ancient temple is shrouded in the green. For centuries, many literati have been chanting and expressing their feelings here.
The poems of Yang Sheng'an, the number one scholar of Ming Dynasty in Sichuan Province, describe the scenery of Sanxi temple with the main characteristics of "Seclusion" and "victory". The towering stone in front of the temple, the Lingquan (three arrow water) beside the temple, the lake water and the pine wind have sketched a fascinating landscape painting. Li Tiaoyuan, a famous scholar of Qianlong in Sichuan, also wrote poems in Sanxi temple.
Sanxi temple covers an area of about 9000 square meters. There are Maitreya hall, Guanyin hall, Great Buddha Hall, ancestral hall and rooms of monks' houses in the temple. On the two walls of Guanyin hall, there are still two characters of "dragon and tiger" written by batulu Han in Yuan Dynasty, which are about five meters in diameter. According to the county annals, the temple suffered from war in the Yuan Dynasty and was destroyed in 1370. After years of maintenance, except for the Great Buddha Hall, other buildings in the temple have been built in the Qing Dynasty. Only the Great Buddha Hall is still built in the Ming Dynasty. According to the title of Dian Liang, it was built in 1377. This hall has a history of more than 610 years. According to the on-the-spot investigation of the ancient architecture experts of the provincial council of cultural administration, it is believed that this hall has high historical value and architectural art value. Therefore, the people's Government of Mianzhu County announced Sanxi temple as a cultural relic protection unit of Mianzhu County in June 1985. In 1991, it was announced as a municipal cultural relics protection unit by Deyang Municipal People's government. After continuous maintenance, the temple buildings gradually improved, and the Buddha sculptures gradually recovered. On both sides of the restored Great Buddha Hall, there are still two osmanthus trees which are said to be planted by the founder of the mountain. One is golden osmanthus and the other is silver osmanthus, with peculiar shape and elegant posture. It is said that the founder of Yuchuan broke a branch of Osmanthus fragrans by hand, tore it in two and inserted it into the soil on both sides of the hall to survive. Red flowers bloom in gold, white flowers bloom in cinnamon. Lu Jiyong, the governor of Kangxi city in the Qing Dynasty, once wrote a couplet for this scene: "two osmanthus trees, three streams of water; four seasons of misty rain, half mountain clouds." The two osmanthus trees have experienced six centuries of luxuriant foliage, green and fragrant.

Main attractions
Shiziyan and Zhetang
Opposite to the gate of Sanxi temple, there is an undulating hillside a hundred paces away. Although the height of the hillside is less than Zhang, its shape is like a natural barrier, which hides the temple buildings. When visitors arrive at the temple, they still don't know where the temple is. When they turn around the groove, they can see the temple. It's like a fairy palace falling from the sky. It can make tourists tired and energetic. There are several huge stones in the groove, which are similar to the lion's Weizhen intersection, and are named shiziyan. A hundred steps along shiziyan, there is a rock protruding about 3 meters. Its shape is like a dragon's head with a huge mouth. It seems that it just woke up from a deep sleep on the earth slope and roared up to the sky. Tourists are all attracted by the uncanny workmanship of nature and take photos one after another.
Three arrows and Lingyuan bridge inscriptions
Up the road in front of the temple gate, about 500 meters away, there is a scenic spot called "three arrow water". Here is a clear spring, which is very clear. At four o'clock, there are several springs gushing out from the ground, thumping, just like the sound of a piano. On the Bank of the spring stands a mottled ancient stele, namely the famous "Lingyuan bridge stele". It has been more than 500 years since it was erected in December 1488, the year of emperor Hongzhi of the Ming Dynasty. The inscription on the stele says, "there is a spring to the west of mianyi, and there is a spring to the left of Guangan temple in Sanxi mountain, which lasts for four hours." It is said that Meng, the Marquis of Shu, would visit Guang'an temple The name of "shooting effect" begins with the rapid flow of three springs. Meng Chang shot three arrows at the gurgling spring. Although the legend is not believable, the spring water tested by experts is high-quality mineral water with strontium and low sodium, which can be used as a water base for many kinds of drinks.
