There is now one back hall, 3 wide and 2 deep, with brick, wood and stone structure, which was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. There is a small room in the west of the hall, with the words "Lu Zu Temple" embedded on the forehead. There are some remnant steles beside the hall. It is said that the father of Nun Mingxi didn't want to be an official in the court. He came to Shentong temple as a monk and was named Xinggong. Mingxi felt that his father was too old to be a monk to take care of himself. In order to take care of the elderly, he came to Shentong temple with his father to live together. Later, on the ground of violating the temple rules, the abbot of the temple asked Xinggong to separate from his daughter. Mingxi came to Yongquan to build an nunnery and became a nun. Yongquan temple is surrounded by Liubu forest farm, full of green pines and cypresses.
