Boshan District was announced as the fourth batch of national scenic spots by the State Council. Boshan scenic spot is the first batch of provincial scenic spots approved by Shandong Province in 1985,

It is composed of Yanshan Park, BAISHITONG, Shimen, Qiaoling, Wuyang mountain, quanhetou, Lushan and Jinniu Mountain. There are more than 200 scenic spots with an area of 73 square kilometers. In 1985, it was named as the first batch of provincial scenic spots by Shandong provincial government, and in May 2002, it was approved as "national key scenic spots" by the State Council.

On December 11, 2015, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development of Shandong Boshan scenic spot was included in the endangered list and given a yellow card warning; the Ministry of housing and urban rural development of China ordered it to rectify within a time limit and focus on supervision.

Boshan scenic area is rich in cultural landscape, and is one of the birthplaces of Chinese filial piety culture. The flowing water of filial piety has nurtured countless excellent Chinese people. Boshan has a long history of ceramic and glass since ancient times, known as the "hometown of ceramic and glass". Boshan cuisine and local snacks with unique flavor play an important role in Shandong cuisine, forming a local characteristic food culture, known as the "famous city of Shandong cuisine in China".

Boshan scenic spot is composed of Yanshan Park, baishidong, Shimen, Qiaoling foreground, Wuyang mountain, quanhetou, Lushan and Jinniu Mountain. There are more than 200 scenic spots with an area of 73 square kilometers. There are two national forest parks in the scenic area, including the great wall of Qi, the first great wall in China, the stone sea, the miracle of nature, the skyrocketing Wanghai tower, the highest mountain in central Shandong, Lushan, and Boshan cave, known as the first cave in Shandong and the first cave in Jiangbei.

Shimen Scenic Area

The village names of Shimen scenic spot are mostly "Valley", including Yueyu, zhenmenyu and zhuoyuyu. This shows that there are many mountains. The main features of Shimen scenic spot are numerous mountains and abundant water.

Stone gate of the mountain, cliffs stand abruptly, the village houses built with the mountain, qingshiya, qingshifang, scattered alternate. On the "Eighteen plates", the stone walls and pillars are like a forest, just like the west sea of Huangshan. Looking to the north, the flat place on the top of the mountain is called jiagutai. According to history, Duke Lu Ding and Marquis Qi held a "Qilu alliance" here during the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period.

Jinniu Mountain Scenic Spot

The origin of "Boshan" and "many mountains" are one solution. However, among all the mountains, it is really known as "Boshan". This is the mountain in the south of Beiboshan Town, now known as chensi mountain.

In front of the chensi mountain, the three branches of the Zihe River meet, and the fields are rich. The mountain on the North Bank of the Zihe River looks like a golden bull hidden among several peaks, so it is called Jinniu Mountain. The pavilions and pavilions on the mountain are mostly hidden in the cliffs and green pines and cypresses. Up to Baiyun cave and Lingxiao cave, the caves are connected.

Wuyang mountain scenic spot

Wuyang mountain is named for its five peaks surrounded by the sun, and is located in Shima town. The precipitous cliffs and the structure of ancient buildings close to the ravines form the natural and artificial landscape characterized by "stone": the "Danshan" stone bridge across the East and west of the stream, "huiqia neighborhood", "daotong Sansan" and other cliff stone carvings, with stone strips as platforms, stone eaves, stone houses and stone pavilions. Jiujiutai and Wuyun cave are naturally formed. There are five branches of pines and cypresses in the crevices of cliff and stone wall. It is said that they were born in Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty.

Wuyang mountain is also adjacent to Shima reservoir with rippling blue waves, Wufeng mountain and Fengding mountain with different pavilions. The ancient buildings in the scenic area are well preserved, and the murals in the courtyard are still clearly visible.

Baishi Cave Scenic Spot

Baishi Cave Scenic Spot is located in the western suburb of Boshan. Visitors to Boshan must visit Baishi cave. Because the beauty of the white stone cave lies in the scenery of the mountain; the wonder of the white stone cave lies in the appearance of the mountain. When a bluestone path leads you to Shangli, you melt into the green. Sanguisorba, tassel, Cotinus coggygria, Sapium sebiferum, trees crisscross, the head of the blue sky covered a solid. Qiaolingqian scenic spot

Qiaolingqian scenic spot is located between mountains and green waters 6 kilometers southwest of Boshan District. The whole scenic spot takes qiaolingqian village as the center, with a radius of 5 kilometers. The scenic spot has beautiful peaks, steep rocks, scattered cottages, small bridges and flowing water, and a mountain scenery. The unique features of this scenic spot are strange mountain, green water, secluded forest and beautiful scenery. The scenic spot has beautiful natural environment, fresh air, clear spring and running water, without any pollution, giving people a feeling of returning to nature. It is a rare natural park for leisure, entertainment, summer vacation and cooling in the province, known as "Luzhong landscape gallery". The whole scenic area is composed of Boshan cave, wangmuchi, Tianxing lake, Qi Great Wall Ruins, linli lake, the first Viaduct of Shandong highway, etc., especially Boshan cave, wangmuchi and Tianxing scenic area.

Boshan karst cave is located in dongzhaiyuding mountain of qiaolingqian village. It was developed and opened by qiaolingqian village in May 1995. After several years of development, the main tunnel has been developed and opened for more than 1600 meters, and the scenic area to be developed has reached more than 4000 meters. The whole main tunnel is crisscrossed with branch tunnels. There are holes in the tunnel, which are tortuous and deep. The structure is very strange. It is very rare in northern China. The width of the hole is about 10 meters, the widest part is more than 20 meters, and the narrowest part only allows one person to walk sideways. It is generally about 30 meters high, with the highest part reaching more than 50 meters and the lowest part crawling to pass. It is known as the underground art palace of uncanny craftsmanship.

Linli lake, with hundreds of mu of water surface, is an artificial lake with the original design capacity of 2.5 million cubic meters.

Wangmu pool is located in the south of Qiancun village, Qiaoling. The two mountains intersect to form a gorge mouth. There are flying streams and cascades. It is suspected that the Milky way is falling into the sky. The huge water curtain impacts the bottom of the cliff, which is brilliant and moving. At the top right of the waterfall, there are seven huge stones, which are more than 10 meters high, just like a graceful fairy looking down and meditating, known as "Queen Mother stone".

Tianxing lake is named after Tianxing valley. It is separated from the mountain of linli lake and echoes each other from afar. In order to develop tourist attractions, qiaolingqian village has invested more than 3 million yuan in two years to build a Tianxing Lake Resort integrating boating, fishing, swimming, summer vacation and dining.

Yuanyuan scenic spot

Fountainhead scenic spot is located in the southeast of Boshan District between the continuous foothills, 25 kilometers away from the city, near the Zihe River, north of Erlang mountain. The scenic spot is known as "Jiangbei small Guilin" for its high mountain, deep valley, lush forest, shallow beach, strange stone, clear spring, secluded cave and beautiful water. The main scenic spots include Kaiyuan cave, Qinglong mountain, Erlang mountain, Zibo first cableway and natural swimming pool.

Kaiyuan cave is named after the cliff inscriptions in Kaiyuan period of Tang Dynasty. It is a corridor hall cave. The cave hall is large and high, with colorful natural scenery such as stalactite, stone mantle, stalagmite, stone flag and stone grape. Unearthed in the cave are cliff carvings from the Neolithic period, Tang and Song Dynasties, and pottery, iron, weapons and other cultural relics from the Western Han, Northern Wei, Sui and Tang Dynasties, which add a mysterious color to the cultural landscape of Kaiyuan cave.

The reflection of Qinglong mountain on the surface of the spring river. The water is clear, the fish swim in the shoal, the geese and ducks play, it's refreshing. Shanglongwan and xialongwan spring groups are densely covered with springs, which spray pearls and jade. The water temperature is about 5 ℃ all the year round. The rainbow trout in the water can make tourists have a good mouth. From xialongwan circling up the mountain road, we can see a group of ancient buildings inlaid between the cliffs, hidden in the green trees and flowers. The first one is the "Dragon King Temple" where people prayed for good weather and abundant grain.

After climbing to the East, to the mountain gate, a brick three door archway with single eaves, about 6 meters in height and width, stands up in the air, with the inscription "eternal sound". Entering the archway, facing is a large-scale Palace - "three palaces". According to the records of the "toulong stele" in front of the hall, the hall was built in the 12th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, more than 400 years ago. The relief stone dragon of the "toulong stele" is as smooth as a mirror. There is a local folk song: "there is a river in front of Qinglong mountain, with mandarin ducks and geese. When you look up and see the toulong stele, you can see the sun nest at a glance." the sunset sets, and the towering "Wuying mountain" can be seen at the end of the stele.
