Lushan Xilin tower
Lushan Xilin pagoda, also known as thousand Buddha pagoda, is located in the west of Donglin temple. It was built in Kaiyuan period of Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in Ming Dynasty.
The pagoda has six sides and seven floors, with Buddhist niches. In the south of the main gate, there is an inscription on the top of each floor. The inscription on the bottom is "Thousand Buddha pagoda". The inscription on the second floor is "yubaocai", the third floor is "King Kong", the fourth floor is "lingjiulai", the fifth floor is "tianshangqing", the sixth floor is "congyuhua", and the seventh floor is "yuanmingzang". The temple was originally the shanzhutan temple. It was in its heyday from Jin Dynasty to Tang Dynasty. It was destroyed in the Yuan Dynasty and restored in the Ming Dynasty. It was destroyed again in the fourth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt again in the eleventh year. Now there is only one temple left.
