Qilipo
Qilipo, the famous dangerous slope of Mount Emei in Sichuan Province, is the longest and last dangerous slope to climb Jinding. It is named after the 7 Li long slope.
Emeishan section
Qilipo is about 31% off, with more than 2380 stone steps. The mountain is steep, and the mountain road turns upward, which makes it feel like climbing up to the sky. Along the road, fir, azalea, Fargesia and various shrubs and vines form a green corridor, dotted with strange trees and rocks, forming a natural stone bonsai. People walk among them, such as in the painting, so it is also called "qilipu corridor".
Tan Zhongyue has a poem chanting qilipo to encourage climbers: "when the day is near and the sky is low, you can see the eight barren mountains. From the top of knowledge to the end, don't be afraid of difficulties for language visitors. "
Paleolithic sites in Shanxi Province
Qilipo, located 800 meters southeast of qilipo village, Duma Township, Pinglu County, Shanxi Province, is 200 meters long from east to west and 130 meters wide from north to south.
According to the observation of the cliff, the thickness of the cultural layer is 2-4 meters. In 1958, when the Institute of Archaeology of Shanxi Province inspected the Paleolithic site in Pinglu County, it was found that there were quartz cores and flakes made by human processing buried in the sub sandy soil near qilipo, and deer bones were also found. According to the geological fault zone of the unearthed relics, this sub sandy layer belongs to the Malan Loess period, more than 1 million years ago.
According to identification and analysis, qilipo ape man lived earlier than the famous Beijing Zhoukoudian ape man and Shanxi Dingcun ape man. According to the strata and the fault zone of unearthed stone tools, the age of qilipo ape man is about 1 million years ago.
At that time, there were not only abundant aquatic plants and wild fruit trees, but also large groups of wild animals near qilipu. Qilipo people live mainly by collecting seeds of wild fruits and digging roots and tubers of wild plants. They have not yet begun to rely on capturing wild animals as food. The tools people use are simple, rough stone chips, stone cores and ready-made branches and sticks.
The discovery of qilipo site, through the fog of history, shows the world the picture of human life in Pinglu Paleolithic age.
Place name of Enshi, Hubei Province
Shiyi ancient road, located in Enshi City, Hubei Province, passes through xijue River to the East. A mountain stands in front of it. Hundreds of stone steps run straight through the top of the mountain. This is qilipo.
In the record of qilipo stone, written by Tong Chang, the civil commander of Shizhou Wei in the Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, it is said: "in the east of Shizhou, there are mountains called Tuotuo, water called tiegou, and mountains and rivers as roads, called qilipo. It's a long time ago that the people who ride on it and the people who ride on it and the people who ride on it and the people who carry on it have been suffering from the problem of folding their stocks and padding their goods. Sun Jun, a native of the county, was a master of Arts. He was compassionate here. When he was a year old, he sent money to his home. He was a servant of chariot stone and ranked second. More than 600 feet, 350 for grade, 35000 for MI, 7200 for work. The beginning of the mid autumn and the end of the year are wonderful
The mountain beside tiegoushui (xijuexi) is called Tuotuo, and the road up the mountain is called qilipu. Because it is difficult to walk, a man named sun Huaiyi spent 35000 yuan in 1524 A.D., 120 days, and employed more than 7200 people. He built more than 350 steps of stone steps to walk easily.
Unfortunately, sun Huaiyi's merits and virtues have been completely annihilated in the loss of time. Qilipo is called "father-in-law and daughter-in-law slope". According to folklore, those stone ladders were built by an old man surnamed Lu and his daughter-in-law Wang. Some people also set up a stone tablet of "father-in-law and daughter-in-law slope". I don't know if there is any road repair work done by my father-in-law and daughter-in-law. Even if there is one, it should be the maintenance of the original stone steps. The real builder of qilipo stone steps is sun Huaiyi. People should not forget him.
