Xu Zhimo and Lu Xiaoman's temporary residence after their marriage is a small western style building with a combination of Chinese and Western styles. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Haining City and a national AA tourist attraction. Xu Zhimo's family background, life, thoughts and literary activities are displayed on both sides of the ground floor of the main building, showing the poet's short and colorful life.

Xu Zhimo and Lu Xiaoman's former residence is located at No. 11, Lane 136, Nanchang Road, Shanghai. In 2005, No. 11, Lane 136, Nanchang Road, was listed as "immovable cultural relic registered in Luwan District" by Luwan District Cultural Relics Management Committee, and was listed as "Xu Zhimo's old residence". Xu Zhimo, the former residence of Lu Xiaoman, No. 11, Lane 136, Nanchang Road (1897.1.15-1931.11.19), is a modern poet and essayist from Haining, Zhejiang Province. He went to the United States in 1918 and to Britain in 1921. After returning to China in 1922, he published a large number of poems. Tagore was a translator when he visited China in 1924. In October 1915, he married Zhang Youyi, daughter of Baoshan's richest man, and divorced in March 22. He fell in love with Lin Huiyin in vain, and then with Lu Xiaoman. He married on October 3, 1926. In order to listen to Lin Huiyin's class, he died in a plane crash from Nanjing to Beijing on November 19, 1931. Xu Zhimo's parents were very dissatisfied with Lu Xiaoman, and in the later period, they were completely cut off economically. This is Xu Zhimo's early residence after his marriage. The former residence of Xu Zhimo, a famous poet, lived here after he married Lu Xiaoman. In order to rent this three story garden villa, Lu Xiaoman spent 100 ocean per month.
