legend
There is also a beautiful legend about the Wugui Pagoda: when it rained that night, five scholars who went to Beijing for exams decided to take shelter from the rain here. They met here and talked freely. They became bosom friends and planted five osmanthus trees here. They agreed that they would come here to meet in ten years, whether they were successful or not. Results ten years later, all of the five scholars have grown into pillars of the national court, and the osmanthus trees planted in those years have grown into big trees. The five scholars remembered the situation in those years with tears streaming down their faces, so they decided to build the next tower here, named Wugui tower.
