Located in Beiliu Town, Yangcheng County, Shanxi Province, the imperial prime minister's mansion is a three-level addition to the four Shangshu of wenyuange, Li, Hu, Xing and Gong in the Kangxi Dynasty. It is the chief reader of Kangxi dictionary and the famous Prime Minister Chen Tingjing in the Qing Dynasty. Its architecture is based on the mountain and changes with the shape. The buildings are stacked and scattered. Transportation: Yangcheng County, where the imperial prime minister's office is located, belongs to Jincheng City, less than 100 li away, so the transportation between the two places is very convenient. After arriving at Jincheng, you can take a coach at the station. You can also take the long-distance bus from Jincheng to Yangcheng and get off at Beiliu town in about 30 minutes. Or take a long-distance bus in Yangcheng County and get off in Beiliu town. )Then take a motorcycle, or drive 4 kilometers on the road. You can also take a flight to the surrounding cities such as Taiyuan, Changzhi, Zhengzhou, etc., and then take a bus from the local area to Jincheng and back to the imperial prime minister's residence.
Prime Minister's Palace
Imperial prime minister's Mansion (National AAAAA scenic spot) is located in Beiliu Town, Yangcheng County, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province. Wutingshan village, also known as wutingshan village, covers a total area of 36000 square meters. It is the former residence of Chen Tingjing, a Bachelor of wenyuange and the third grade official of the Ministry of official affairs of the Qing Dynasty, the chief reader of Kangxi dictionary, and the lecturer of Emperor Kangxi's feast in the 35th year. It is composed of inner city, outer city, ziyunqian and other parts. The imperial library is resplendent, the middle road is magnificent, the Douzhu residence is continuous, the rivers and mountains are majestic and precipitous, and there are many soldiers in it It is a rare Castle style official residence complex of Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is called "the residence of the first cultural giant in northern China" by experts.
At the 2018 China Yellow River Tourism Conference, Prime Minister palace of imperial city was rated as "50 scenes of China's Yellow River".
In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers who are struggling in the front line of anti epidemic, from the end of the epidemic to the end of 2020, the national medical workers can visit the scenic spot free of charge with their valid certificates.
Human history
The prime minister's office of the Imperial City, formerly known as "zhongdaozhuang", was later named "imperial city" because Emperor Kangxi stayed here twice.
The prime minister's residence in the imperial city was built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The inner city was built by Chen Tingjing's Uncle Chen Changyan in 1633 to avoid war. The outer city was completed in 1703.
In the 260 years from emperor Xiaozong of Ming Dynasty to Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty (1501-1760), there were 41 Gongsheng, 19 Juren, 9 Jinshi and 6 Hanlin.
In 2007, Prime Minister's palace became an AAAAA scenic spot.

The imperial prime minister's office is located in Beiliu Town, Yangcheng City, in the southeast of Shanxi Province. It connects Jiaozuo, Xinxiang and Zhengzhou in Henan Province in the East, Jiyuan and Luoyang in Henan Province in the south, and Yuncheng and Houma in Shanxi Province across Zhongtiao Mountain in the West.
Geology and geomorphology
Huangcheng Xiangfu scenic spot is located in the southern margin of North China platform. The intersection of Taihang Mountain Fault and Zhongtiaoshan fault is the southern area of Qinshui coalfield. The area has undulating mountains and ravines, which can be divided into middle mountain, low mountain, hilly and basin geomorphic units.

Huangcheng Xiangfu scenic area belongs to warm temperate semi humid continental monsoon climate, with obvious climate characteristics: warm and windy in spring, hot and rainy in summer, cool and humid in autumn, cold and less snow in winter.

The prime minister's palace scenic area is a relatively rich water area. Yangcheng Power Plant, a national large-scale thermal power project, takes the water from Yanhe Spring. The rivers flowing through the scenic spots belong to the Yellow River system. Among them, Qinhe River is the largest and is one of the main tributaries of the Yellow River.

The area of jiunu lake, Shishan, Fanshan, Wangjie and laolaolaozhang is rich in vegetation, and the natural secondary forest, artificial ecological forest, shrub forest, flower and fruit forest are widely distributed.
Main attractions
There are 16 courtyards, 640 houses and a total area of 36580 square meters. The navigation map city of neiwuting villa was built in the fifth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1632 AD), with eight large courtyards. The outer city was completed in the 42nd year of Emperor Kangxi's reign (1703 A.D.), with front hall and back bedroom, left and right inner house, Academy, garden, boudoir, housekeeper's house, Wanghe Pavilion, etc.
Douzhuju
The inner city "Dou Zhu Ju" was built by Chen Tingjing's Uncle Chen Changyan in 1633 to avoid war. Douzhuju is 71.5 meters from the east to the West and 161.75 meters from the north to the south. It has five gates, crenels at the top of the wall, Castle buildings at important parts, and Spring Autumn Pavilion and Wenchang Pavilion at the commanding heights in the northeast and Southeast.
There are 125 military caves on five floors around the city wall, which are used by servants and porters during the war. In the north of the inner city, a high castle building, named heshanlou, was built. It was three Zhang and four feet long, two Zhang and four feet wide, and ten Zhang high. The building is divided into seven floors. There are stairways or wooden ladders in the wall between the floors. The bottom floor goes deep into the ground. There are water wells, stone mills and other living facilities. And there is a secret road leading to the outside of the city, which is the hiding place for the people to avoid the enemy during the war.
The inner city architecture is divided into three types: ancestral temple, civil residence and official residence. There are Chen's ancestral hall, shideju, shudeju and Qilin courtyard, Rongshan mansion and Yushi mansion.
Heshanlou
Heshanlou is located in the north of inner city. Heshanlou, named after "heshanweiyuan", was built in 1632, the fifth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty, when the war was raging in the late Ming Dynasty. In order to resist the invasion of bandits, it was built by the three brothers of Chen jiachangyan, Changqi and Changqi. It is more than 30 meters high and is the tallest building in the imperial prime minister's palace. The floor plan is rectangular, 15 meters long, 10 meters wide and 23 meters high, with a total of seven floors (including one underground floor). The exterior walls of the building are uniform, while the interior decreases layer by layer. There is only one arch in the south direction of the whole river and mountain building. There are two gates for fire protection. The outer gate is a stone gate with bars behind it. Shed boards are built between floors to store personnel and materials.
There are windows on the third floor and above of heshanlou. The stone gate to enter the fortress is suspended on the second floor and connected with the ground through suspension bridge. There are crenels and battlements on the top of heshanlou, which is convenient to watch the enemy and defend the castle. There is also a large amount of grain in the ho Shan building to cope with the possible long-term siege.
Heshanlou was built in 1632 ad. the project has not been completed yet. The bandits arrived unexpectedly. More than 800 people of Chen family and nearby villagers took refuge in the building. The villagers in the building splashed the well water from the roof of the building to show that they were well prepared and did not fear the siege. The bandits retreated and left. In the next ten months, the bandits invaded three times, and thousands of villagers escaped from the war relying on the help of the river and mountain buildings.
Heshanlou is also known as fengyuelou.
Garrison cave
During the war, there were 125 tunnels on five floors. The caves are connected or blocked, or three or five are connected, and there are secret passages between the layers, which can reach the city directly. The highest floor is built inside the city wall, with gun holes facing the outside of the city. It can not only fire firearms, but also observe the enemy's situation.
Chen's ancestral hall
The ancestral temple of the Chen family. It was built in the Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. The structure is a courtyard with two entrances. The former is the ancestral hall, and the latter is the ancestral temple.
Shude hospital
Shude courtyard, located in the northeast corner of inner city, was built in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. The main courtyard is surrounded by a main room, a wing room and an inverted seat. The main room is a three story building, which adopts the form of "three bright and five dark". The wing room and the inverted seat are two-story buildings, and the four corners of the courtyard are closed or open patios. This kind of architectural form is extremely unique, and has some similarities with the "four in five patio" style dwellings in Yunnan. The ground of the courtyard is paved with plain brick and stone. The northwest patio of the main courtyard is connected with the side courtyard, and the door is not equipped with a screen wall. The layout of the partial hospital is basically the same as that of the main hospital.
Shide Academy
Shideyuan is the birthplace of Chen Tingjing. The large size of the courtyard is similar to that of Shude courtyard. Except for the ancestral hall, there is no need to fight chess. The main combination of square wood between the columns is: flat square, large square and sparrow. The column base, door pillow stone and shadow wall are all plain. The doors and windows are generally arched or square. The windows are mainly vertical lattice windows and supporting windows. There is little decoration in the structure of wooden breast board and beam frame. Floor coverings are mostly set in the interior, and the decoration is generally geometric.
Qilin courtyard and Rongshan Mansion
One of the early Ming Dynasty buildings in the inner city of the prime minister's mansion was originally the economic residence of Chen Tingjing's grandfather. The stone beast beside the door and the screen wall in front of the door all have the design of Unicorn, so it is named "unicorn courtyard".
Rongshan mansion, facing south in the north, consists of two courtyards. Each courtyard has one front and two back rooms. All the houses are hard mountain style with double eaves roofs. The front courtyard is the reception room and the back courtyard is the inner house.
Yushifu
The Yushi mansion is the residence of Chen Changyan, Uncle Chen Tingjing. Because of his official residence in the imperial censor, it is called yushifu. Due to the limited geographical location, the main building was built with two courtyards, the court hall on the left and the inner house on the right.
Zhongdaozhuang
"Zhongdaozhuang" in the outer city was completed in 1703. It was built close to the west wall of the inner city. It is basically square and slightly shorter than the west city. The main buildings in the east city are Chen Tingjing's mansion - zhongzaidi and daxuedi. The supporting buildings include study, garden, lady's courtyard and housekeeper's courtyard.
