"Haoqinde" is translated into "ancient" in Mongolian. Haoqidewang temple was built in 1700 A.D. in the 39th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. It has a history of 300 years. It is said that the temple was built by telmutai, the eldest son of the third generation of King alasong of the East haoqide tribe. During the Dingsheng period, there were more than 100 chanting Sutras in the temple. In 1928, the ninth Panchen Lama visited here.
