Tachuan, with its back on the southwest side of Huangshan Mountain, is far away from the rippling shiliqshu lake. Twenty or thirty ancient dwellings with pink walls, dark tiles, and cornices are built close to the mountains. They are layered and well arranged. From a distance, they look like a giant pagoda hiding in the valley and in the shade.
