Dazheng hall, commonly known as Bajiao hall, was built in 1625. It is an important palace built by Nurhachi, the emperor of the Qing Dynasty. It is the most solemn and sacred place in Shengjing palace. At first it was called Da yamen, and in 1636 it was named Du Gong hall, and later it was changed to Da Zheng hall. The octagonal double eaves are of the cusp type, and the porch is on eight sides, all of which are "axe eye" type partition doors. Below is a xumizuo platform about 1.5 meters high, surrounded by carved lotus net bottle stone railings. The top of the hall is covered with yellow glazed tiles, with green trimming. The flame bead top of the phase wheel is in the middle. There are eight iron chains around the top, each of which is connected with the strongman. There are two dragons carved on the two pillars in front of the hall. There are exquisite Sanskrit ceiling and dragon subduing caisson in the hall. It's magnificent. There are throne, screen, smoke stove, incense Pavilion and crane Candlestick in the hall. This hall is the place where emperor Taiji of the Qing Dynasty held important ceremonies and political activities. In 1644 (the first year of Shunzhi), Emperor Fulin ascended the throne here.

The East Road Building of Shenyang Palace Museum was built by Nurhachi, Emperor Taizu of Qing Dynasty. It was first called Da yamen, and it was written in Manchu as "AMBA Yamun". Before the Qing Dynasty entered the pass, Manchu wrote "dian" as "yamen", which means the Yamen for handling affairs. The Dazheng hall is built on an octagonal xumizuo about 1.5 meters high. The base of the platform is built with green bricks and carved stone strips. From bottom to top, it is composed of Guijiao, Xiafang, Xiaxiao, Shuyao, Shangxiao and Shangfang. It is surrounded by carved lotus leaves and bottle shaped bluestone railings. Dazheng hall is three rooms wide and three rooms deep. The width of Ming room is 2.65 meters, and that of the second room is 1.84 meters. In ancient buildings, columns are the main load-bearing components and the main basis of separation.
architectural style
Dazheng hall adopts the beam lifting technique of ancient Chinese architecture, that is, columns on the column foundation, beams on the column, sandalwood on the beam, rafters and watchboards on the sandalwood to form the roof.
