The monument is located in liaocun village, Shuishang village, Chiayi County, Taiwan Province. It was first built in the 34th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. Its longitude and latitude are 23 degrees 27 minutes 4 seconds 51 north latitude and 120 degrees 24 minutes 46 seconds 50 east longitude respectively. This sign was damaged in the Jianan earthquake on January 18, 1964. Later, it was commissioned by Jiayi air force base to design and renovate.
There are only monuments with geographical indications and no other sightseeing facilities. In front of the monuments stand green dragon cypresses, and there is a circular azimuth. Tourists often take photos here. At present, a new memorial building has been built beside the old logo, and it is planned to be used for display and exhibition of science.
