Xuanquan temple is one of the eight old scenic spots in Linqu County. It is named because the temple was built according to Xuanquan. Every year, March 3 of the lunar calendar is the incense day of the temple. There are many Japanese pilgrims, including local people and pilgrims from other places. Among them, there are Buddhists and Linyi people. There are also many people who come to visit. Most of them are watching while walking. Occasionally stop at a place, enjoy for a while and then go in a hurry, and you will meet a gentle smile toward you. They are mostly boys and girls.
Temple in the Liulin River into the Fen River on the north bank, beautiful scenery, known as Liulin river scenery, is under the jurisdiction of Yangqu county. It used to be the incense house of "the land of firewood and charcoal of the Jin vassal state", and it was turned into a Buddhist temple in 1467. Its location is surrounded by Xiufeng, Fenshui drainage, deep valley forest, cliff building repair. Temple built in the cliff, back Jueya, facing Fenhe, east-west. There are Mountain Gate, bell tower, Guandi temple, main hall, dizang hall, Guanyin cave, sutra tower, Qifo cave and other temples in turn. They are built according to the rock, and the styles are varied. The cliffs, rocks, mountains and springs of the whole temple are jingling, and the water on the ground is misty, just like the south, which is quite interesting. There are many cultural relics in Xuanquan temple, including the Bodhisattvas of the king of Tibet in Zhengde iron casting area of the Ming Dynasty and the top ten Yan Jun, the "top ten beauties" of the Ming Dynasty waiting on the remnant statues, the remnant murals of the Ming Dynasty, more than ten stone inscriptions, as well as the sutras, tombstones and some sacrificial vessels. At the foot of the Temple slope, there are four courtyards, monk houses and other buildings with commercial outlets, which are the life and rest of tourists.
A hundred meters to the west of the temple is the dam area of the newly-built Fenhe Reservoir 2. All kinds of pavilions are built on the dam. The reservoir area has been turned into a water playground. The east of the dam is a tourist and living area, and has begun to take shape. This group of scenic spots is surrounded by tall and straight mountains, steep cliffs, swaying suspension bridges, clear Fen River, crystal clear river beach, deep ancient temples, and folk customs in the village. It has the characteristics of ancient, beautiful, dangerous and strange. It is a small pastoral landscape of "birds flying together, fish jumping up and down, woodcutter carrying, fishermen fishing".
There are beautiful and peculiar natural landscapes in the scenic area, as well as the historical and cultural pearl Millennium ancient temple. It is a tourist attraction with special taste of "ancient, beautiful, hanging, strange, dangerous and wild". It is the fourth batch of key cultural relics protection units in Shanxi Province. Here, with beautiful scenery, towering rocks and misty clouds, visitors can enjoy the natural human landscapes, such as rocks, caves, waterfalls, lakes, trees, flowers, birds, animals, fish and insects, as well as bridges, towers, dams, temples and so on.
