Related Legends
The origin of the waterfall lies in the Taoist mountain, which is also named after the legend of the cultivation of immortals by the Taoist. There are many tea trees growing in the rock beach of Daoshi mountain. It is said that in ancient times, there was a Yuyao man named Yuhong who went to the mountain to pick tea. When he met Dan Qiuzi, an immortal, he gave him a big tea in the mountain. Later, he named it "waterfall Xianming", which means that it was given by an immortal. This is its original place, and beside it is the tea Temple site built by Yu Hong in memory of danqiuzi.
Forty two streams near Daoshi mountain gather at the top of Baishui mountain and flow down to Longqiu. At the water outlet of the waterfall, there is a cave called Chanyuan cave, also known as Baishui palace. It is said that it is the place where the Taoists chant sutras. In the Yuan Dynasty, Taoist Mao Yongzhen presided over the temple temple. He cultivated land under the waterfall, expanded Shitian mountain house, and built Qinghui Pavilion beside the temple as a place to watch the waterfall.
Baishuichong waterfall flows down into a pool, flows out of the mouth of the pool, and flows into a stream among the boulders. According to the legend, Liu Gang and fan Yunqiao, who follow baigongxue Road, collect herbs and make pills for all living beings. They wash herbs in the stream every day and dye the water purple, so they are called Zixi, also called Xiyao stream. This area is surrounded by clouds all the year round, forming a cloud belt several miles long. People travel from north to south, as if floating in a sea of clouds, so it is called "Guo Yun". There are also Guo Yunyan and Guo Yunqiao nearby.
