Huangniushi
On the border of Guangdong and Jiangxi, there is the highest mountain in Nanling area, which is called "Huangniushi". It is named because of a strange stone on the top of the mountain, which looks like a yellow ox. The mountain is high and large, with an altitude of 1430 meters. It covers the border of the two provinces. In the south, it belongs to Guangdong, with jagged rocks and few vegetation. The north slope is in Jiangxi Province. It is full-bodied and lush, and its original state is intact. Here bamboo dense, there are birds and animals, exotic flowers and herbs, edible fruit and a variety of medicinal materials. There are also sweet springs and mineral treasures underground. In the past, it was known as a treasure mountain as "yellow cattle stone 830000".
Huangniushi is high and beautiful. The scenery of the mountains and waters is unique. The grotesque caves in Shiyan are really strange. Ten miles from wudongpan, it is the famous "baiyun temple" in Jiangguang, under which there are many natural landscapes such as dayingzi, Shizhai, xiangshuilong, etc. "Dayingzi", at the junction of Duntou and pingkeng, is a section of mountain field, about 10 mu wide, surrounded by mountains and far away from people. It used to be a place where mountain people secretly planted opium (opium poppy). During the period of the Republic of China, officers and soldiers came to shovel tobacco seedlings and were tied here with vines. "Shizhai" in the dense forest, a group of steep cliffs, up to several feet high, on top of which there are trees, such as the village from a distance, so it is named. "Xiangshuilong" refers to the bottom of a section of a pit. There is no water in drought, but the sound of the water is loud. It turns out that when the stream at the end of the pit flows through the pit, it passes through the ground. Under the echo of the mountain wall, the sound of the running water is like music. "Three hills field", is in the steep dense forest, protruding a flat, about one mu wide, like three hills field shape. In the past, the nuns of baiyun temple used to farm here. "Rolling hole" means that the stream water rushes down from the stone wall and falls into the pool at the bottom of the stone hill, and the water splashes like boiling water. The roar of the water and the incessant spray add noise to the quiet mountains.
