Niaoshazhou is located 2km to the east of Nanjindu hydropower station in Yongzhou City. It is alluvial by Xiaoshui Huihuan, covering an area of 1000 mu, surrounded by water on all sides. The island retains the original secondary forest, full of strange ancient trees, thorns and vines, covered by shade, birds rest all year round, so it is called bird sandbank.
