Gushangzhou
Gusangzhou, also known as Liuzhou, is a small island in the lower reaches of Zhuzhou in Xiangjiang River. It is about 10 kilometers away from Zhuzhou City, only 3.5 kilometers long and 250 meters wide. It covers an area of 560 mu (370000 square meters) and has a permanent population of more than 60 households. The island is covered with green trees and beautiful scenery. There is an ancient camphor tree in Zhoutou for more than 1300 years. The local people are famous for planting mulberry and raising silkworms thousands of years ago. There is an ancient tomb of Luo Yao, the ancestor of Luo Dian, the president of Yuelu Academy. However, few people know about it because it is located in the suburb.
Introduction to the island
Gu sangzhoudi belongs to Majiahe Town, Tianyuan District, Zhuzhou City. There are 63 households and 258 people on the island. Most of the young people go out to work and do business, so there are only more than 160 people on the island. Ancient Sangzhou has a long history. According to historical records, it is mainly famous for an ancient tomb, that is, the tomb of Luo Yao, the ancestor of Luo Dian, the president of Yuelushan Academy. The island is covered with green trees and beautiful scenery. There is an ancient camphor tree in Zhoutou for more than 1300 years.
Thousands of years ago, the local people were famous for planting mulberry and raising silkworms. For generations, the residents of the continent lived by raising silkworms and fishing.
economic structure
The economic crops of gusangzhou are far more than those of grain crops. Gusangzhou has a simple economic structure in which grain can be self-sufficient and economic crops can be exported.
From Zhoutou to Zhouwei, there are not many houses, but most of them are two or three storey buildings. Some of them are painted with a layer of ceramic tiles, which looks more beautiful. Into the building, we saw the television, refrigerator, electric fan appliances, there are few computers, there is no air conditioning. The room is decorated very simply. There are only a few tables and chairs in the hall and a few beds in the bedroom. This is the living standard of the residents in Zhuzhou, which is similar to that of other rural areas in Zhuzhou.
The residents of gusangzhou have been breeding mulberry and raising silkworms for generations. In July and August of each year, they cook the cocoons, peel off the silk and sell them in the market. The price of silk is generally 180-190 yuan / kg. When the harvest is good, the income from selling silk can reach 10000 yuan, which is almost the whole income of the villagers in a year. Because selling vegetables doesn't make much money, not to mention fishing. They just need to fish at the table. We then asked about the situation when the harvest was not good. Aunt Luo said that because Xiangtan thermal power plant in the northwest was only half a river away from gusangzhou, every time the northwest wind blows, a large amount of smoke and dust will be blown to the island, polluting the air on the island, causing a large number of mulberry leaves to wither and die, and a large number of silkworms will die, bringing huge losses to residents' income. The light is only a few thousand yuan, the heavy is not even a cent. Because of this, all the residents of gusangzhou went to the municipal government several times to discuss the matter, but they never came back. They hope that through this investigation, we can report the situation to the leaders at a higher level and solve the problem of people's livelihood as soon as possible.
Floods are also a big factor in crop production. Last year's floods flooded almost the whole continent - the water has risen to the bottom of the house at the head of the continent. Residents on the island have moved to relatives' homes for refuge, not to mention the success of grain harvest. As for the education of teenagers on the island, she said that the children in the village go to primary school a few miles away from gusangzhou. They get up early and return late every day, and they are transported by boat.
geographical environment
According to the survey, the land of each household in gushangzhou is about 1-2 mu, and the most is only 3 mu. More than 95% of the residents use more than 90% of the land for planting, leaving only about 10% of the land for growing vegetables. These vegetables are mainly for their food, and only a small amount of them are sold to the outside world. The land on gushangzhou is also relatively fertile, suitable for the growth of a variety of crops, and gushangzhou grain needs to be purchased, because it is a small island in the lower reaches of Zhuzhou of Xiangjiang River, only 3.5km long and 250m wide. Its geography determines that the island is rich in sericulture, which objectively determines that it needs to plant a large number of mulberry trees to meet the food needs of silkworms. Although the vegetation coverage on the island is very high, reaching more than 80%, there is little new vegetation. Most of the residents said that they seldom plant trees, usually in three to five years, and only a few of them guarantee to plant trees once a year. However, they plant mulberry trees every year, and no new tree species have been introduced, which makes the species of vegetation on them surprisingly small. As the saying goes, "trees in ten years, people in a hundred years." Without trees, there is no beautiful environment. In order to create a more beautiful environment, the island residents should introduce other tree species while vigorously developing mulberry and silkworm breeding. It has been said that trees are the source of human food, and they are the lasting shelter and protector of human beings.
The water in the pond on gushangzhou is almost dried to the bottom, and the rest is muddy enough to compare with the Yellow River. According to an incomplete survey, most of the water used by the residents on the island has some impurities, and it is directly heated for consumption without any deposition or filtration. This makes people worry about their health. Living on the island, the transportation is inconvenient. Once the residents have three diseases and two pains, they need to find a doctor What a terrible thing it is. Water is the source of life. For the safety of themselves and tourists, they need a complete water purification system. Moreover, there is such a bad habit among the residents - not saving water resources. There are quite a few people whose taps are not closed. Imagine what a terrible number it would be to waste a little every day over the years. Moreover, most of their domestic water is directly discharged into the Xiangjiang River without any treatment. In my opinion, as a place to be developed as a tourist destination, this kind of work must be completed, which can avoid water pollution. On the other hand, it also lays the foundation for the cleanness of their domestic water. Therefore, the input and output of water should be clean.
History and culture
Alone in the middle of the river, I'm not alone in the road.
The wild boat sleeps near the beach, and the ferry passengers look for sails and cry across the bank.
Across Tingzhou mulberry short, straight into Yunhan ancient camphor thick.
Let honor and disgrace flow with the water, Chongyi stele square wandaishu.

Gu Sangzhou, also known as gulangzhou, is derived from Yang Xiong's Changyang Fu in Wenxuan. The so-called drum catfish, that is, beating the drum line "Chi catfish tree jaw" ceremony, "catfish" is the meaning of the forehead. The ancient mulberry island is the island with ancient mulberry. In the eighth year of Tianbao in Tang Dynasty, the ancient Sangzhou Dynasty set up Luokou county (Yishuhe) and kaimeishan County in the reign of Xining in Song Dynasty (1068-1078). In addition, Gusang island is also known as catfish island because it looks like a catfish in the river when overlooking Gusang island. "Catfish island" probably does not have the name "guluzhou". It has a long history, because you have to look down to see that it looks like a catfish. There is no big mountain near gushangzhou, so the predecessors probably can't see it. Second, during the Tang and Song Dynasties more than 1000 years ago, gushangzhou didn't know what it looked like. So I guess.
There are many ancient trees in ancient Sangzhou, especially mulberry trees. But now most of the old mulberry trees wither and die, but the ancient camphor at the head of the island is still alive. Ancient camphor is very big. The branches on the trunk are thicker than most of the ancient trees I have seen. Its diameter is about 2.0-2.5 meters. The residents of the island have been raising silkworms for generations. Now every family on the island has 400-500 mulberry trees at least, and thousands at most. On average, each family has 700-800 mulberry trees.
The ancient tomb of Luoyao at the head of gushangzhoutou is now the object of district level cultural relics protection. It is said that one day, shortly after sleeping, Luo Yao suddenly saw an old man come up to him and said, "when a fish goes up a tree, a horse rides a man, a noble man will meet him." When he woke up, it turned out to be a dream. But what makes him wonder is, how can a fish go up a tree? Isn't it just a tree for fish? How can a horse ride a man? There are only people on horseback. Coincidentally, he saw a man hanging a fish on a tree outside the door, and another man carrying a Trojan horse. This is a little beggar. So Luo Yao associated with his dream, he left a little beggar. Later, Luo Yao offered to hire a teacher, and the beggar became an important official of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Zhi, who became Prince Tai Bao, Minister of rites, and Bachelor of Wen Yuan Ge. However, Luo Yao, who was knowledgeable and generous, refused to be an official. After Luo Yao died, Zhang Zhi set up a tomb for him, so most of the people on the island were descendants of Luo.
Tourism development
Gusangzhou attracts people's attention because of its unique geographical location and superior congenital conditions. It is suitable for tourism development.
background
Located in the middle of the Yangtze River, gushangzhou is an isolated island. The residents of the island grow mulberry and silkworm, and grow vegetables. There is only a small farmhouse in Zhoutou and a small shop in Zhouwei. In case of annual drought and pollution from surrounding thermal power plants, silkworms will no longer spin, causing huge losses to residents. Therefore, digging out the tourism value of gusangzhou can bring considerable and stable income to the island residents.

1. Typical farmhouse
The residents of Gusang island are hospitable and can place the tourists in their homes. Fully experience farm life. A large number of fruits and vegetables are planted on the island. You can invite regular visitors to come here in specific seasons to experience the fun of planting and harvest. In summer, the process of cocoon processing by residents can also make outsiders know more about it.
Tourists can also take a boat to fish in the river. Although they can't do it by themselves, they can also get close to the river
