Daqishan National Forest Park is located in Tonglu County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, on the South Bank of Fuchun River. Daqi mountain, also known as "Saiji mountain", is historically known as "the most famous mountain in the south of the Yangtze River". There are mountains, grotesque rocks, canyons, streams and waterfalls in the territory, which are famous for their majestic, dangerous, strange, beautiful and broad. Daqishan National Forest Park and Tongjun mountain, qiliyangfan, Fuchunjiang small Three Gorges, Yanziling diaotai together form Fuchunjiang tourism plate.

Location context

Daqishan National Forest Park is located in the South Street of Tonglu County, 7 kilometers southeast of the county. The geographical coordinates are between 119 ° 42 ′ 39 ″ - 119 ° 44 ′ 38 ″ E and 29 ° 45 ′ 08 ″ - 29 ° 46 ′ 32 ″ n. It overlooks Longmen ancient town in the East, baiyunyuan scenic spot in the south, Yanziling diaotai in the West and Tongjun mountain scenic spot in the north. It is 90km away from Hangzhou in the northeast, 88km away from Qiandao Lake in the southwest and 250km away from Huangshan scenic spot in the northwest. The total area is 40 square kilometers.

Daqishan National Forest Park is a corner of Longmen Gang, which runs from south to north to Tonglu. Daqishan is a gentle mountain with an altitude of more than 600 meters.

Daqishan National Forest Park is a subtropical monsoon climate zone with four distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is 15 ℃, and the average temperature in midsummer is 26 ℃.

hydrology

The stream water in daqishan National Forest Park is mainly composed of spring water and rain water. There is a spring at the top of the mountain, which gathers with the rain to form Longtan waterfall. In rainy season, the waterfall can be as high as 30 meters and 6 meters wide.

Resources

As of 2013, there are more than 130 species of animals in daqishan National Forest Park, including 39 species of mammals and 81 species of birds. The main animals are mountain eel, stone chicken, giant salamander, black muntjac, mountain deer, leopard, clouded leopard, civet cat, pangolin, etc.

There are nearly 1000 species of woody plants and shrubs. The main plants are Kudingcha, jinqiansong, masson pine, Cunninghamia lanceolata, Rhododendron, Magnolia grandiflora, Myrica rubra, Castanopsis sclerophylla, Phyllostachys pubescens, etc., among which there are 13 kinds of national protected plants.

Main attractions

As of 2009, the main scenic spots in daqishan National Forest Park are shijingyuan Canyon, Jinniu wenqiju, etc. Around the green theme, the park has opened up green world, children's Park, barbecue field, bath pool, fish Park and other recreational facilities.

Shijingyuan Gorge

Shijingyuan Gorge Scenic area relies on natural mountain streams and valley sources. Roads, bridges, pavilions and galleries take advantage of the situation. Along the way, stone pavilions, wooden pavilions, grass pavilions, gallery pavilions, oblique pavilions, square pavilions, half pavilions, naobu pavilions, stone bridges, wooden bridges, cable bridges and network bridges all take advantage of the situation to create scenery.

Jinniu asked Qiju

Jinniuwenqiju is a special teahouse built by jinniutan. The whole structure of the teahouse is built according to the tea garden. The interior furnishings are Yixing purple sand tea set, Wuyishan root carving tea table and tea chair, and the mountain spring from the elevated hollow log is used to make tea. Through the drip of big wooden teapot and the automatic rotation of 15 buckets, the spring water is continuously input into the teahouse.

Yurt scenic spots

Located at the foot of Daqi mountain, there are 56 Mongolian yurts scattered among the flowers and plants. The internal facilities are built according to the star hotels, including standard rooms, conference rooms, special restaurants and entertainment centers.

Hangzhou bus west station, South Station (express) have direct bus Tonglu, every 20 minutes, 1 hour 20 minutes.

At the gate of Tonglu County long distance bus station, you can take bus No.20 to daqishan National Forest Park.

Self driving line:

1. Starting from Shanghai - (via Shanghai Hangzhou Expressway) --- Huhang 18 exit Hangzhou North (turn right to Hangzhou Ring Expressway) --- go to ring 8 exit, turn right to Hangxinjing expressway, go to Hangxinjing Expressway 9 exit, and get off Tonglu expressway. The whole journey takes three and a half hours.

2. Nanjing -- - (Yuhuatai Airport Expressway) -- (via Nanjing Hangzhou Expressway) -- - turn right to Hangzhou Ring Expressway (to Jinhua Lin'an direction of Hangzhou Ring Expressway) -- - go to exit 8 of Ring Expressway, turn right to Shanghang Xinjing expressway, go to exit 9 of Hangzhou Xinjing expressway, and get off Tonglu Expressway. (about 6 hours)

3. Suzhou to Suzhou JIAHANG expressway, go to Hangzhou --- turn right to Huhang Expressway (via Huhang Expressway to Hangzhou) --- Huhang 18 exit to Hangzhou North (turn right to Hangzhou Ring Expressway) --- go to ring expressway 8 exit, turn right to Hangxinjing expressway, go to Hangxinjing Expressway 9 exit to Tonglu expressway. (about 3 hours) 4. After turning right at Hangzhou north exit 18, it's easy to go wrong from the fork and get off the ring expressway. After turning right, you must go straight to Hangzhou Ring Expressway, drive 2 km around exit 8, turn right to hang Xinjing (HangQian) Expressway, and get off the expressway at hang Xinjing Expressway 9 (Tonglu exit).

Development and construction

In the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Jidong, a pushing official, bought a mountain to build an nunnery; in the seventh year of Tianqi (1626), Chen Jinglu, a county magistrate, inscribed the Mountain Gate with the name of "Daqi Temple"; in the Chongzhen period, monks raised money to build "Guanyin Pavilion".

In the 1960s, daqishan was opened up as a state-owned forest farm.

At the end of 1992, daqishan was approved as a national forest park by the Ministry of forestry of the people's Republic of China. In July 1993, it was officially opened to the public to receive tourists.

In 2012, daqishan National Forest Park was successfully established as the first batch of "Provincial Ecological and cultural base".

Historical legend

There is a pond at the foot of daqishan, known as "jinniutan". It is said that this is the pool where Taurus bathes. Taurus cultivated himself and could eat grass to make money. Because he ate the magic elixir of the grand spectacle, the goddess of the grand spectacle accused him of plowing land for the people during the day and digging the Fuchun River at night to dredge the river. This is the origin of the story of "Taurus leaving Fuchun River". In order to thank Jinniu for its herbivorous and gold production, the villagers dug rivers to benefit the people. Therefore, the area along the river at the foot of Daqi mountain was called Jinniu township.
