In the northwest, there is a wide beach 1500 meters long and 1000 meters wide. The sand is golden and fine, which is a rare natural bathing beach. In the southwest of the island, there are many grotesque reefs. In the southeast, there is a very spectacular mangrove belt, which constitutes the unique natural scenery of Malan island.

In 1998, the island has built a new resort, with villas, comprehensive stores, small food street, shower room, restaurant and other facilities, opened accommodation, catering, entertainment, beach and sea bath, shopping and other business, opened a program-controlled telephone, installed closed-circuit television.
