Tomb of General Wang detai
General Wang detai's tomb is located on the hillside of Yangmian mountain, northwest of Da'an village, Songshu Town, Jiangyuan District, Baishan City, Jilin Province.
Brief introduction of tombstone
It was built in 1958 by the Korean achievement investigation team and rebuilt by the Hunjiang Municipal People's Government on October 25, 1982. On April 20, 1981, Wang detai's tomb was listed as a provincial key martyr memorial building protection unit. The cemetery covers an area of 300 square meters, and the front of the tomb covers a flat area of 120 square meters with iron fence. Tomb in the center, sitting south, cement noodles, 3 meters high, 3 meters in diameter. At 2.5m in front of the tomb stands a concrete monument, 3.3m high, 0.6m wide and 0.23M thick; at the bottom of the monument, 1.3m high and 0.23M thick. The front of the monument is engraved with "the tomb of General Wang detai, commander of the second army of the Anti Japanese allied forces". The life story of Wang detai is engraved on the back of the monument. His brilliant achievements have spread to both sides of the Songjiang River. The general's courage and courage vie with the sun and the moon, and his heroic spirit and mountains and rivers live forever.
Profile
Wang detai, senior commander of the Northeast Anti Japanese United Army. Born in 1907. He is from Zhanjia village, GAIPING County, Liaoning Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1931. In the winter of 1932, he participated in the establishment of the guerrillas in Yanji County, and later served as a political commissar. In March 1934, he took part in leading the formation of the independent division of the second army of the Northeast People's revolutionary army. He served as the political commissar of the division and later as the division commander. Once the headquarters won the battle of attacking Antu County. Together with Tong Changrong, Secretary of the CPC East Manchuria special committee, he led the establishment of the East Manchuria Anti Japanese guerrilla base. In May 1935, he served as commander of the second army of the Northeast People's revolutionary army. Wei Zhengmin, together with political commissar, commanded the main force and made expeditions to Suining, Dunhua, ER and Mengjiang areas, which opened up contacts with the 1st and 5th armies and promoted the joint operations of the Anti Japanese armed forces in Manchuria and Jidong areas in Southeast China. In March 1936, he served as commander of the second army of the Northeast Anti Japanese Federation. In July, he served as deputy commander-in-chief of the 1st Route Army of the Northeast Anti Japanese Federation and was elected member of the CPC Southern Manchuria Provincial Committee. On November 7, 1936, he died in the battle of Xiaotanghe in Fusong.
