Baoji Municipal Museum
The former Baoji museum is a local historical museum in China. In Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, the ancient Jintai temple was built in 1956, initially known as the historical relics exhibition room, and renamed Baoji City Museum in 1958. Now it has been moved to Baoji bronze Museum in China stone drum garden. The total building area is more than 2250 square meters, including 598 square meters of display area and 910 square meters of ancient buildings. There are more than 11000 pieces (groups) in the collection, including 5740 pieces (groups) of bronzes, most of which are bronzes of the Western Zhou Dynasty, and 45 pieces of first-class collection. One of the most famous is he Zun, which has 122 characters on it, recording that King Wu and King Cheng planned to govern the world and build Cheng Zhou (now near Luoyang, Henan Province). The museum holds the basic exhibition of historical relics of the Western Zhou Dynasty, which reflects the rise and fall of the Western Zhou Dynasty. There are also exhibitions of cultural relics unearthed from tombs of the Western Zhou Dynasty.
Baoji bronze ware Museum, originally a museum of Baoji historical relics, was built in 1956 as a national first-class Museum. Located on shigu mountain, South Binhe Road, Baoji City, the new museum in Zhonghua shigu garden was completed in 2010. It is the largest bronze Museum in China. Development history
Baoji museum was built from the end of the Yuan Dynasty to the Hongwu Period of the Ming Dynasty. Zhang Sanfeng, a Taoist of Liaodong, lived here in seclusion. At that time, Baoji museum was very popular. Baoji museum building is divided into two parts. In the middle part, three caves are built according to the original mausoleum, named Xiuzhen, Chaoyang and Feixian. In front of the cave, eight halls are built in the middle, East and West, including Sanqing, Houji and Yuandi. In the northwest corner, there is an octagonal Donghua Pavilion. After liberation, the local people's government expanded all the buildings into Baoji Museum.
architectural composition
The first part of the museum is the exhibition of primitive society, which focuses on the cultural relics of more than 20 primitive cultural sites found locally. It reveals the track of the local ancestors' activities 100000 years ago and reflects the long history of the local culture. Among them, the beishouling site 7000 years ago is the most eye-catching, 400 years earlier than the Banpo site in Xi'an. Baoji is the hometown of Emperor Yan of Shennong. The collection of high collar milk bags in the museum is a true reflection of the level of production technology in the Shennong era, that is, the transition period from matriarchal clan society to paternal clan society.
The second part of the museum reflects the history of the early development of the Zhou Dynasty, focusing on the bronze unearthed from the Zhouyuan site. In the museum, there are architectural restoration models of the ancestral temple and Palace site of the Western Zhou Dynasty, from which we can see the earliest model of the construction of quadrangles or two or three entrance courtyards, as well as the screen wall.
The third part of the museum gives a vivid introduction to the early activities of the Qin people. Before the spring and Autumn period, the people of the state of Qin had been living and reproducing in this area. The Duke mu of Qin dominated Xirong, leading the state of Qin to a prosperous era. There are stone drums (copies) of the Qin Wengong era and cultural relics unearthed from the chencangcheng site in the museum. In addition, some cultural relics unearthed from the Yongcheng site of Fengxiang Qindu are also on display here, which plays a very important role in a comprehensive understanding of the economic and cultural level of the state of Qin at that time.
Baoji museum is also located in the viewing place of "Jinge Liuxia", one of the eight scenic spots in Baoji. Whenever the rising sun or setting sun, the yellow glazed tile covered roof in the sun, glittering, dazzling.
Baoji Museum has a complete set of display cabinets, storage cabinets and repair equipment, photographic equipment, security facilities, etc. It also has a library with a collection of more than 10000 books. In order to provide a basis for the study of the location of the fiefdom in the capital of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the unearthed cultural relics from the tombs of Gong Yubo, Ji and other Yao families in the Western Zhou Dynasty are of great significance to the study of the cultural exchanges between southwest and Northwest China and the central Plains during the Western Zhou Dynasty. Eight Qin Gong bells (3 of them and 5 of them) were unearthed in Pingyang, the capital of the Qin Dynasty. They were written by Qin Wu Gong in the spring and Autumn period, with 135 characters on them, It records the achievements of the four Qin princes of Xiang, Wen, Jing and Xian, and the battle of Wu Gong against Rong.

This is a bronze ware made by a member of the Song family surnamed he in the Chengwang period of the Western Zhou Dynasty. It is a precious work of art in the early Western Zhou Dynasty. The shape and decoration of this ware are unique. It is thick, beautiful and generous. It has a strong sense of subjectivity. It has a round mouth and square body. It is decorated with four big gate tombs. At the bottom of the ware, there are 122 words of inscriptions. In April of the 5th year of King Cheng, the king of Zhou began to build the capital of Cheng Zhou to give the king of Wu a blessing. On bingri, the king of Zhou trained Xiao He of the song nationality. The content tells that his father followed King Wen. King Wen ruled the world under heaven's command, and King Wu told the heaven after he destroyed the business, taking this place as the center of the world to rule the people. This is an important admonition and encouragement of King Cheng of Zhou, which provides valuable information for the study of the history of the early Western Zhou Dynasty. The Western Zhou Dynasty. It is 39 cm in height, 28.6 cm in diameter and 14.6 kg in weight. The mouth is round and square, with four hollowed out big door edges, silkworm pattern on the neck and banana leaf pattern on the bottom of the mouth. The whole statue is based on the thunder pattern. The high relief is decorated with the Taotie pattern of the roll angle. The circle foot is also decorated with the Taotie pattern. The craft is exquisite and the shape is magnificent. A 12 line inscription with 122 characters was found on the bottom of the inner liner of the bronze statue, which recorded the important historical events of the construction of Luoyi and the capital of the state by King Cheng of Zhou Dynasty. It is of great historical value. Is "Zhaizi China" (meaning I want to live in the central area of the world) the earliest record of "China", indicating that the earliest China refers to the Heluo area with Luoyang as the center. It was unearthed in Jia village, northeast suburb of Baoji City, Shaanxi Province in 1963.
