Pineapple mountain, located in the northwest of Gulou District, Nanjing, is a branch of Qingliang mountain system. About 3 / 4 of it is in the campus of the junior middle school of Nanjing No.29 middle school (formerly Nanjing No.4 Middle School).

At the end of last century, due to the development of urban construction, the construction of the main road in the west of the city was carried out. Nanjing No.4 Middle School handed over part of the area to Nanjing City, and opened mountains to build buildings. Most of the pineapple mountain was poured with cement to build the building, and only a small part of the bare vegetation.
