Guandi temple was built in memory of Guan Yu who was loyal to heaven and earth in ancient times. After hundreds of years of evolution, the pattern was established in the Republic of China. The top of the main hall is nine ridge double eaves hanging on the top of the mountain, with clay sculpture and inlaid porcelain. In the hall, the statue of Guan Yu is 2 meters high in the middle, with Zhou Cang on the left and Guan Ping on the right. On the wall, there are heavy colored murals depicting the story of Guan Gong. After hundreds of years of evolution, the pattern was determined by the time of the Republic of China. When it was repaired in 1984, two additional 8.5-meter-high bell and drum towers of the same style were built, with 280 meter long brick walls and more than 30 kinds of leaky windows inlaid, making the whole building an integral whole.
Couplets
There are two couplets in Guandi Temple: "Shi Wolong, you Zilong, long Shi Longyou; Di Yide, Xiong Xuande, and de dide." "Holding the candle is not to avoid suspicion, Si Ye is in the Han Dynasty; Hua Rong is not to repay virtue, and at this time there is no Cao in his eyes.". One skillfully uses the characters related to Guan Yu, and the other extracts the two most striking things in Guan Yu's life. Both of them are included in the dictionary of Chinese couplets. The whole temple style combines the essence of the two dynasties of Central Plains and western Guangdong in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and has the unique characteristics of Chaoshan and Jieyang.
