--Dongshanling scenic spot is one of the earliest tourist attractions in Hainan, which is also called Bijiashan in history because of its three peaks.

Dongshan mountain is located 2km to the east of Wancheng Town, Wanning City. Because of three peaks, it looks like Bijia mountain. It is also called Bijia mountain in history. It is one of the earliest tourist attractions in Hainan. It was once as famous as Wugong temple, Luhuitou, Tianya Haijiao and other scenic spots. It is known as "the first mountain in Hainan". There are more than 100 stone scenes in Dongshan mountain scenic area, which are magical everywhere, vigorous and unpredictable. There are eight most famous scenic spots on the mountain, which attract tourists. Climbing up the Dongshan mountain, you can see the "Qixia Chaoyun" scenic spot, one of the eight scenic spots of Dongshan mountain. Development history

Dongshan mountain once had a unique scenery, which is described in many poems and essays of the literati and poets of the past dynasties. Geologists believe that the Dongshan mountains were formed by the long-term erosion of sea water, which led to the emerald peaks, grotesque caves and rocks, beautiful flowers and elegant ancient temples described by scholars. Therefore, they are called "overseas Yingzhou" and "the first mountain of zhuya".

Now why does Dongshan mountain feel desolate?

Zhongzhe, a retired cadre of Wanning cultural center, has been investigating Dongshan mountain for more than one month and finally found her decline track.

The temples on Dongshan mountain have been destroyed and rebuilt many times in the past dynasties. During the "great leap forward" period in 1958, Dongshan mountain suffered another disaster. An ancient bronze clock weighing more than 300 Jin in Chaoyin temple was smashed to make iron.

The most serious damage was during the cultural revolution. The temples, shrines and historic sites in Dongshan mountain were destroyed in the name of "four old". The front eaves, back rooms, trusses, doors and windows of Huafeng temple were removed, and all stone carvings, statues, inscriptions, murals, plaques, couplets, etc. were burned. Dongshan mountain is almost a ruin.

It was only in the late 1970s and early 1980s that Dongshan mountain was re protected. In 1980, the then Wanning county government listed Dongshanling as a county-level protected area, and began to rescue and protect cultural relics and historic sites. In 1981, the government set up the Dongshanling Park Management Office to carry out a comprehensive planning for Dongshanling and began to develop tourism.

From 1981 to 1996, the sound of building bricks and stones was heard every day in Dongshan mountain. Seven Stone House hotels, steps around the mountain, stone road and cement road were completed one after another.

In July 1996, Dongshanling established Wanning Dongshanling Tourism Development Co., Ltd. with fixed assets of 140 million yuan at that time.

After the establishment of the company, a large number of cement projects continued. Two 6800 square meters of cement structure parking lots, one ticket checking room, 56 shopping stalls and shops were built, and then 516.8 meters of "high-altitude cable car" was built.

Mr. Zhong Zhe's investigation helps us understand from one side why we can't find the feeling of the ancients when visiting Dongshan mountain, that is, there are too many artificial traces that are incompatible with the scenic spot. The verdant green of the past has been replaced by brick and concrete, and the famous temples and ancient temples of the past have been covered by luxurious halls.

Looking through the tourist records of Dongshanling scenic spot, we can also find that the artificial traces did not block the tourists who came here. Before 2000, Dongshan mountain received more than 5000 tourists a day at most, and more than 2000 tourists a day at least. This mountain brings considerable revenue to local finance every year.

Behind these prosperous surfaces, some other terrible phenomena are also destroying the former tranquility of Dongshan mountain. Some people wandering in the mountains force tourists to take photos, sell fake geckos, and do fortune telling The sheep managed by few people in the scenic area also spoil the scenery, the ground is full of feces, and the flowers, plants and trees are gnawed.

Due to the old system, poor management, a lot of damage and damage, eventually led to the decline of the scenic spot. By 2001, Dongshan mountain had been "neglected in front of the door". A cadre of Wanning municipal government lamented: Dongshanling's management mechanism is inflexible, poor management, lack of capital investment, no overall planning, no publicity and promotion, and has not established the brand of "Hainan's first mountain".

On April 19, 2002, Dongshanling scenic spot was commissioned to operate as a whole, and Wanning municipal government and private enterprise Wanning Hongda Trading Co., Ltd. signed the contract of commissioned operation of state-owned assets.

The system problem of imprisoning the reappearance of the scenery of Dongshan mountain has been broken. Now around the Spring Festival, Dongshan mountain has seen the noise of the past. But in the uproar, the regrettable traces of damage still exist. Some people raised objections to the new company, while others made a sweat for Hongda Company.

In any case, Dongshanling has taken a historic step after all. Maybe it will take more time for this new operation system to really show its effectiveness. Chaoyin Temple
