Bailongquan

Bailongquan is located at the foot of Longma mountain in the northeast of Yuxi City, about 10 kilometers away from Yuxi City, with beautiful scenery and quiet elegance. It is mainly composed of Bailong temple, Bailong spring, Xianren cave and dense forest with an area of about 200000 square meters. The existing Bailong temple has four floors and three patios. The front section of the temple is called the inverted tower, with a stage on it, a pool under it, and ear chambers on both sides. The second hall is called the Dragon hall, the third hall is called the two religions homologous hall, and the back hall is called the Guanyin hall. In the old days, there were white dragons and statues of gods in each hall, but now most of them have been destroyed. The only "White Dragon God" carved in sandalwood is placed in the Dragon hall. Bailong spring is a fresh spring that springs from the cracked rock on the Longma mountain. It falls down the rock and flows along the ditch, giving people the feeling of water flowing up the mountain. Xianren cave is hundreds of meters northwest of Bailongtan, with a depth of more than 50 meters.

Bailongquan

Bailongquan: at the south foot of Bailong mountain, there is a magical Bailong cave, 2 meters high and 1.5 meters wide. The cave is surrounded by clouds and jagged rocks, and there is a clear spring flowing out of the cave. According to folk legend, the spring has the effect of exorcism and treatment. When you meet someone with three diseases and two pains, you can get a spring here. After drinking, the pain will be eliminated and you will be safe. This is one of the famous eight scenes of Ruichang. According to Ruichang county annals by Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty, "Bailong spring originates from the Han River, passes through the river and Yuhua, and flows into Bailong mountain in Longpan of Antai township. The flood tide surges every day as scheduled."

In 1986, believers restored a simple temple for incense, which was called "Longyuan Temple" or "bailongquan". It was officially named Longquan Temple in 1992.

Origin and characteristics

Bailongjing Pavilion is located at the side of bailongqiao in Nanxi park. It was built to protect bailongjing. The pavilion is 8 meters high, 5 meters long and 5 meters wide, and covers an area of 25 square meters. It connects with the bottom of the pot from north to south. There are two pairs of caves penetrating each other in Nanxi mountain. Yuanyan and chuanyunyan also cross from north to south, while Guanyin cave and Longji cave are connected from east to west. These groups of interconnected caves are small underground channels developed in different periods. Longji cave is the first one to develop, which began to be eroded about one million years ago, until the formation of Guanyin cave tens of thousands of years ago. Most of the other caves developed along the North-South steep fissures of the rock strata. Bailong cave and Guodi cave, yuanyan cave and chuanyunyan cave began to develop about 100000 years ago, and formed a relatively complete underground river tens of thousands of years ago. Now, the three groups of caves are opened up manually, and six caves are connected as a whole. They enter from the stone trough of Bailong cave, turn back to the "Jinshan Yinshan" of Guodi cave, turn into the "prawn hanging wall" passing through the dolomite, and the "Guanyin statue" of yuanyan, turn east, and pass through the "high mountains and deep valleys" exit of Longji cave. It is said that there was a girl in the Ruan family of shangshantou village in ancient times. She was born beautiful and intelligent, and she was diligent and clever since childhood. At that time, there was a shortage of water at the top of the mountain, and all the drinking water at home was picked up by Ruan's girl at Bailongtan. One day, when she was carrying water after the rain, she slipped while climbing the slope. Fortunately, a young man behind her helped her, so she didn't fall down and the water in the bucket didn't spill. From then on, the Ruan girl went to Bailongtan to carry water. From time to time, she saw the young man doing farm work in the field. After talking, she learned that the young man's surname was Bai, and her family lived nearby. One night, Miss Ruan dreamt that the young man told her: tomorrow, at the place where she was herding cattle, she will meet a white sheep fighting with the black sheep. Ask her to whip the black sheep, and the white sheep will win. The next day when the white sheep and the black sheep were fighting fiercely, Miss Ruan arrived with a whip. Two whips, the black sheep was knocked to the ground. A few days later, the young man came to the Ruan family to propose marriage. The old man wanted to promise, but married a girl. Who will carry the water? As soon as this problem comes out, young people promise that they will let their mothers have drinking water all the year round. On the wedding day, the bridegroom rode on a horse, with a long tail on the road. From Bailongtan to the top of the mountain, he pulled out a ditch, with a stream of water flowing to the door of Ruan's house. Later, people used this water to grow crops. It turned out that this young man was the little white dragon in the white dragon pool.

Yuxi City bus is convenient, are no ticket, ticket price 0.5 yuan. There are Xiali and Santana taxis. They don't have a meter. They charge 5 yuan in the city.
