Shipeng mountain is the place where Shi Manqing and Su Dongpo, the literati of Song Dynasty, traveled as officials. It is famous since ancient times. Spring is a sea of flowers. Summer is green. Shipeng mountain is named because there is a natural stone shed on the mountain. Against the background of pastoral scenery, it looks like a huge bonsai stone from a distance. Although it is not too high, it is full of strange rocks. By virtue of their rich imagination, the ancients gave life to many stubborn stones, such as Wanhua rock, bergamot rock, turtles exploring the sea, rhinoceros fighting for elephants, tianzhanduyue, seal watching the moon, golden monkey worshiping the mountain, as well as ingenious sword testing stone, Furong cave, xiaojiuqu, etc., which are enough for people to stop and enjoy and forget to return. Now, under a slightly inclined yellowish brown wall, there are six Han Li, which are named "Shi Manqing's reading office" by Liao Shizhao, the governor of Haizhou in the Ming Dynasty.
Shipeng mountain
Between Kongwang mountain and Jinping Mountain, there is a small mountain, Shipeng mountain, which is no more than 100 meters high. It is only 5 kilometers away from the urban area. It is the place where Shi Manqing, a great poet of Song Dynasty, drinks and entertains, and Su Dongpo, a great writer, climbs mountains and writes poems.
History and Humanities
The ancients said: "the mountain is not high, there is a fairy name", because of the presence of two celebrities, so that the mountain name spread everywhere. Under a stone wall on the south side of the mountain, the official script "Shi Manqing's reading place" is engraved. It is said that he often reads papers, plays the piano and drinks to express his feelings here. Shi Manqing is a famous poet and calligrapher of the Song Dynasty. His name is Yannian and his name is Manqing. In Song Zhenzong's time, he was demoted to Haizhou because he was honest and dare to say fair words, and made a small judgment. He was a close friend of Su Dongpo. When he passed through Haizhou, he came to the mountain with admiration for his fame and wrote Fu with him. There is a stone shed on the top of the mountain, which is engraved with the four characters "Gao Xing Qing Feng". This is written by the governor of Haizhou at that time to praise Shi Manqing's conduct. Recently, the local government has invested a lot of money in the development of Shipeng mountain and built stone terraces and water park. Shipeng mountain has been famous for hundreds of miles, attracting guests from all over the world.
Main attractions
Shipeng mountain is rich in natural landscape and cultural landscape in Jinping Mountain scenic area. It is not far from the east of Haizhou city. It is hidden in hundreds of acres of peach orchards. There is a sea of flowers in spring. Although the Shipeng mountain is not too high, it has many strange rocks. By virtue of their rich imagination, the ancients gave life to many stubborn stones, such as Wanhua rock, bergamot rock, turtles exploring the sea, rhinoceros fighting for elephants, tianzhanduyue, seal watching the moon, golden monkey worshiping the mountain, as well as ingenious sword testing stone, Furong cave, xiaojiuqu, etc., which are enough for tourists to stop and enjoy and forget to return.
On the top of the mountain, there is a huge oval stone, which is 13.4 meters long and 34 meters thick. Two or three stones below hold it up to form a stone chamber. There are natural stone beds and benches in the stone room, which can be used for sitting and sleeping. There are many huge stones hanging in the air, and they seem to be precarious. They live under them. They feel that there is a danger of overturning at any time, so they can be afraid to stay and can't give up. This is the stone shed named after the mountain. The stone shed is engraved with the four characters "Gao Xing Qing Feng" written by Wang Tong, the magistrate of Haizhou in the Ming Dynasty. It is a tribute to Shi Manqing, who is famous for living with this mountain.
Not far from the southwest of the stone shed, there stands a big Zhaotou cliff, facing the sun and leeward, facing a relatively flat grass. When visitors take a rest here, they will have the feeling of melting into the blue and green color of the emerald Nanshan. It is said that Shi Manqing used to read, play the piano, drink and have fun here, so later generations engraved six big characters of "Shi Manqing's reading place" on the stone wall, deep into the stone bone, simple and lovely. In addition, there are two poems in memory of Shi Manqing. It can be seen from these cliff inscriptions that the people of Haizhou admire Shi Manqing very much and regard him as a local honor for being an official in Haizhou for several years.
A touchstone
From the South Road of Shipeng mountain, a big stone seems to have been split by a sword with clear marks. It is said that Liu Bei was exiled to Haizhou after he was defeated in Xuzhou. Mi Zhu, a wealthy man in Haizhou, saw that Liu Bei had a man in charge of his life and helped him revive the Han Dynasty. Liu Bei and Mi Zhu came to Shipeng mountain. Liu Bei said that if they could make a comeback, they would be able to split the stone. He waved his sword to split the stone and saw it fall open. So this stone is called Liu Bei's sword testing stone.
Shi Manqing reading Office
Shi Manqing reading place is one of the main scenic spots in Shipeng mountain,
Furong cave
Around the north side of the stone shed, "Furong cave" three clerical characters can be seen. Here is suitable for cool, on both sides of the rock shade, summer here, cool wind, make people relaxed and happy. Shi Manqing jokingly called Furong immortal, so it was called Furong cave.
Tomb of MI Zhu
Mi Zhu's tomb is more than 50 meters east from Shi Manqing's reading place. According to the biography of MI Zhu in the annals of the Three Kingdoms, the name of MI Zhu was Zizhong. His hometown was in the Jinping Mountain Area of Lianyungang City. Mi Zhu used to be the right-hand assistant of Tao Qian, a Xuzhou herdsman. Tao Qian "gave way to Xuzhou three times", and Liu Bei took over the post of Xuzhou herdsman after Tao Qian died of illness. When Liu Bei resisted Yuan Shu, Lu Bu captured Xuzhou and forced Liu Bei to flee to Guangling Haixi (Guannan, Lianyungang City). Guan Yu also fled to Haizhou. When Liu Bei was in distress, brother Mi Zhu subsidized Liu Bei's "three thousand slaves" to supplement his military resources, supported his "gold and silver currency" as military pay, and "made his younger sister his wife" so that Liu Bei could make a comeback.
After Liu Bei became emperor, he worshipped Mi Zhu as an Nu general. After MI Zhu died, he was buried in Shipeng mountain. The mausoleum was rebuilt in the style of the time.
