Wuting bridge is built on the thin West Lake, like a belt of the lake. There are five pavilions on the bridge, so it is named Wuting bridge. This unique bridge has become a symbol of Yangzhou scenic line.
Wuting bridge was designed and built by Yangzhou Lianghuai salt transport envoys in Qing Dynasty to welcome Qianlong's southern tour. The shape of the bridge is elegant and beautiful, with yellow tiles and Zhu columns, white railings and painted caisson in the pavilion. It is magnificent and has the characteristics of Southern architecture. Under the bridge is a thick pier with the characteristics of northern architecture, which harmoniously combines the architectural art of the north and the south, and combines the landscape design with the bridge engineering. There are 15 caves in Wuting bridge. On the night of the full moon, each cave holds its own title for one month. The full moon of 15 hangs upside down in the water, competing to reflect each other. Boating goes through the caves, which is very interesting.

Construction achievements
Technical problems
The piers of Wuting bridge are made of 12 large pieces of bluestone, forming a heavy and powerful "I" shaped bridge foundation. The bridge body is composed of rolling holes of different sizes and shapes. The hollow vault rolling holes are equipped with a solid bridge foundation. However, there are heavy projects on the only 50-60 meter bridge. After the technology was developed at that time, the bridge builders relied on pure hand to build the abutment piers, and then built five pavilions on the bridge Most of the hundred years have been preserved to this day.
