It is the upper section of Yujiang River, belonging to Xijiang River system. Yongjiang was first named in the Tang Dynasty. It is said that it was named after Yongzhou and Yongxi in the suburbs of Nanning.
hydrographic features
The measured maximum water depth of Yongjiang reach in Nanning city is 23 meters, the maximum velocity is 2.8 meters per second, the maximum river width is 1000 meters, the normal water level is 300 meters to 400 meters, and the fluctuation range of flood is 15 meters to 18 meters. The average slope of low flow riverbed is 0.1 ‰, and the velocity is 0.3 M / S; the local slope of beach danger is 6 ‰, and the velocity is 3.5 m / s.
Interannual variation of Yongning section of Yongjiang River: according to the observation of the county water conservancy department in Pumiao, the water level is generally about 60 meters above sea level, the lowest is 54.8 meters in April 1955, the highest is 72.78 meters on August 19, 1968; the annual average flow is 1550 m3 / s, the lowest is 115 m3 / s on April 27, 1955 in dry season, and the highest peak flow is 13300 m3 / s on August 19, 1968. The annual variation of Yongning section of Yongjiang River: generally, the dry season is from October to next April, the water quantity increases in May, the flood season is from July to September, and the water quantity begins to decrease in October.
The river is divided into East and West sections in the Shajiang river. The west section is curved, especially when it flows through Pumiao. First from north to south, and then from south to north, it encircles Mocun on the north bank into a peninsula. The upstream and downstream of the river are only more than 100 meters away from the nearest place. The east section is straight, and it turns at linglishitang. The width of the river is 270-300 meters. The widest part is shitangwan, but after erosion on the North Bank of the river, stalagmites are exposed on the riverbed. The narrowest part is the section from Niuwan suspension bridge to chopping block. From the west to the East, there are Fantan, liyuji, dongguatan and shiyantan. The shallowest is Fantan. After dredging, the water depth of the channel in the dry season is only 60 cm; the deepest is the south of the reach from the meteorological station to the nitrogenous fertilizer plant in Pumiao Town, which is about 16 m deep in the dry season.
The riverbed of Yongjiang River is composed of sand, sandy cobble, gravel and silt. The Yongjiang River Valley is a U-shaped symmetrical Valley in the prime of life, forming two obvious terraces and overland terraces within the floodplain. The bank slopes on both banks are the front of the first terrace, belonging to the Quaternary strata, which are composed of clay, loam or sand and gravel layers. The natural slope angle is 40 to 45 degrees, and the slope height is 15 to 20 meters. The lateral erosion is obvious, the two banks of XiXiangTang section are yellow loam or sandy loam, the convex bank has floodplain sand accumulation, and the concave bank collapses seriously. From Tieqiao to Chencun and XiXiangTang reaches of Yongjiang River, the average lateral erosion rate is 0.5 m to 0.7 m per year. Since the 1980s, due to the rising water level, the increase of motor ships, flood erosion and rock blasting along the river
A large amount of sand is removed, resulting in bank collapse or shallow landslide. On March 21, 1987, a large-scale landslide occurred in Minsheng wharf, which brought difficulties to municipal construction. At about 9:00 a.m. on December 19, 1989, another landslide occurred on the Bank of the river between Minsheng wharf and the north middle section of Yongjiang bridge. About 2000 cubic meters of soil fell into the river.
Main tributaries
Liangfeng River, also known as the Nali River, Shuitang river. In ancient times, it was called Hujiang River and Wushui river. It was called ruheshui and wushuijiang in ancient times. There are two sources of the river: one is from the southern foot of the high mountains at the junction of Yongfu in the north of Suwei town and the stone mountain group in the west of Rende in Suwei town. The water is stored in the reservoirs of tanpeng, liusi and Lutao, and converges near Dingying village, which is called paihuan River; the other is from the eastern foot of Gonggao in Fusui Town, which is called paile river. It converges into Tiantang reservoir, and converges with paihuan River in the northwest of Maocun village. After the confluence of the two sources, it was called Liangfeng river. The Liangfengjiang river flows into the suburbs of Nanning from xiaonadan, then into the county boundary river, and into Yongjiang River at shuitangkou. Liangfeng river flows through Suwei and Wuwei, with a drainage area of 536.2 square kilometers, an average annual flow of 6.8 cubic meters per second, a river curve length of 65.33 kilometers, a width of 20-30 meters, a water surface area of 0.8 square kilometers, and a natural fall of 305.9 meters.
Bachi river is the largest tributary of Yongjiang River in the county. There are three sources of rivers: Zhengyuan Fengting River, Dongyuan Nanzhou River and Xiyuan Pingjiang river. Fengting River, also known as shanzidong River, originates from the northern foot of leimaoling in Shangsi county. After flowing into the county, Fengting river reservoir is built by damming the river. Nanzhoujiang river originates from the northern foot of Dongjian mountain. There are four river sources. The West River source comes from Jicai of Shangsi County, and the rest comes from the county. In 1958, dams were built at peicha, Hengqi, hengdou and Tunliu to build the east main channel of Fengtinghe reservoir, Jiegua reservoir group and Tunliu reservoir. The water from these two reservoirs flows to Datang Kangli to form talc river, The Huashi River receives the two small rivers from Nali and Naxing, and then flows to Gongan and Fengting River, Dawangtan reservoir is built at Dawangtan, and to Liangqing Xinlan to join Xinjiang River, and then flows into Yongjiang River at the edge of upper village of Pumiao village.
Xinjiang River, formerly known as Nayue River and renlishui River, is the largest tributary of Bachi River and the third grade tributary of Yongjiang river. Its main sources are Xinjiang River, naweng River and Siling river. 1. There are three main sources of Xinjiang River: the main source is from maomaomaoling reservoir and tunliang and Natha, the West source is from naxu and tunlu of Baiji, the East source is from naloutandun, and the flow is 0.32 m3 / s. it flows to nanawng river near tuanyang, then to nasiling river of Pumiao, and flows into Bachi River in Xinlan of Liangqing. 2. There are three sources of the river. The main source of the river is Baiji, tuncha and Nanxiao Tuancheng. The West source is Datang Napu, Nafu, Nanrong and Baiji Wenbi reservoir, Hualian of Xinjiang River joins Zhengyuan and Xiyuan, and two small streams of Yingxiong reservoir are built in the upper reaches of Xinjiang River, which flows into Xinjiang River near NATAO of Xinjiang River. 3. Siling River, also known as Siling River, originates from the east foot of nachen dingzhiling mountain and the other from Datang garden slope. After the confluence of nachen baipai, the river is 10-30 meters wide and 1.5-3 meters deep, and then converges with Xinjiang River at Liangqing Nayue. Xinjiang River flows into Bachi river near Liangqing Xinlan. Qinglongjiang river originates from Nalou Tunliu, Nalou dianma built Nalin reservoir, along the way to receive water, and Qinglongjiang reservoir is built near LiuXu NaBu, which flows into Yongjiang River in Changtang Zhongdou; Dongyuan collects LiuXu Najiu, Nahe, Luyang and Huaili water, builds Ma'an reservoir near tuanhuang, and then flows into Qinglongjiang reservoir. Qinglong river flows through Nalou, Liuwei and Changtang, with a drainage area of 218 square kilometers, an average annual flow of 2.87 cubic meters per second, a length of 30 kilometers, a width of 10-15 meters, and a depth of 3-5 meters. The source and flow of Santang River are to the north of Santang in the suburb of Nanning, and its downstream flows into Yongjiang River from Najiu village of Changtang township to the mouth of scissors river. The Sitang River, also known as Shiling River, originates from Wuming county. After confluence, it flows into the county from Yanhe branch of Gaofeng forest farm, flows from north to south, flows through Nabi and Sitang, turns to the East, and joins Shajiang river near Baogai. Xiyuan comes from the West foot of Dingxiang mountain, passes through Tongren, and converges with Zhengyuan at that downhill. Sitang river only flows through Sitang Township, with a length of 50.45 kilometers, a drainage area of 171.1 square kilometers, a width of 50-100 meters, a depth of 3-5 meters, an average annual flow of 2.96 cubic meters per second, and a natural drop of 54.8 meters. Shajiang River, also known as Dachong River, is the secondary tributary of Yongjiang River and the second largest tributary of the county. The main source is Batang River, and six tributaries (including Sitang River) converge from north to south. The Batang river has three sources: the East source comes from the West foot of paixian mountain, the middle source comes from jiutang, and the ancient rare and ancient Di meet in jiutang; the West source comes from the east side of baizao and meets in nahui; the East, middle and West sources meet in Batang and are called Batang River; the Batang River enters into Wutang and is called Shajiang river. Shajiang river flows from east to west, through Wangzhu, Liangshan and Youai, to Hejiang river
