Lukang station of Taiwan sugar company was the "shingaoyi station" of "shinko Sugar Co., Ltd." during the Japanese occupation period. Later, it was operated by Taiwan Sugar Company, but it was abandoned due to the suspension of Taiwan Sugar freight. The station is located at the intersection of Zhanglu road and Qingyun road. It is not a real station, but a place where people come to understand the history of the station. The simple wooden style and the small locomotive reserved behind the station for passengers to take photos all arouse nostalgia. Lugang South District Tourism Service Center was originally located in Wenwu temple. It was moved here after the renovation of Lugang station in Taisugar.
In addition to seats for tourists to rest, there are also free access map guides and volunteers to provide tourism consultation services. The most special one is the "Dr. Lu tourism information station" introduced by the center, whose touch-screen interface enables people to handle the food, drink, play and well-being discounts in Lukang. Tourists with two-dimensional code mobile phones can also use mobile phones to store scenic spots and discount information. In addition, visitors can also apply for the "deer captain guide" and free bicycle rental service here.
