Qingdao Mountain Park
Qingdao mountain, also known as Jingshan, is located on the west side of Zhongshan Park in Qingdao, close to Qingdao Baihuayuan. It is the western extension of Taiping mountain with a height of 128 meters. In the last years of the Qing Dynasty, Zhang Gaoyuan, a general, once set up a defense on the mountain and built his barracks on the southwest slope of the mountain. After the German occupation of Qingdao, the mountain was named Bismarck mountain after the German prime minister, and two permanent fort, Bismarck fort, were built in the south of the mountain. During the Japanese German war, this fort once dealt a heavy blow to the Japanese army. When the German army was forced to surrender due to lack of troops, the fort was destroyed, but the steel turret and cement gun chamber were still intact, which became a historical witness of the colonialists' invasion of Qingdao. In the 1980s, Qingdao mountain was turned into a hilltop Park, in which mountain trails and stone steps were built, circling to the top of the mountain. On the top of the mountain, there is a glazed tile covered landscape wall and a pavilion for viewing the landscape. In 1997, Qingdao modern history exhibition hall was built at Shanjiao Fort site.

The mountain was named Bismarck mountain after the then German prime minister, and two permanent forts, Bismarck fort, were built in the south of the mountain.

1980s
Qingdao mountain has been turned into a mountain park. In the park, mountain trails and stone steps have been built, circling to the top of the mountain. On the top of the mountain, there is a glazed tile covered landscape wall and a pavilion for viewing the landscape.
1984
Qingdao municipal government has built Qingdao mountain as a mountain park, in which winding mountain paths and climbing stone steps are built, leading to the top of the mountain. The whole mountain is planned to be four scenic spots in spring, summer, autumn and winter, and a climbing viewing area. At the foot of the mountain, there are glazed tile covered landscape walls, named "Zhichun", "lanqu", "Meiyou" and "cuibo", respectively. At the top of the mountain, there are "Yiran Pavilion" with Chinese national style, "Qinxin Pavilion" on the Western ridge, children's playground on the north slope, and many flowers and trees planted on the mountain. Qingdao mountain has become one of the most popular Mountain Parks in Qingdao.
Qingdao mountain park is located at the junction of Shinan District and Shibei District, with an altitude of 128 meters and a park area of 208600 square meters. It is one of the ten Mountain Parks in Qingdao. It was built in 1985.
Qingdao mountain is located in the south of qingxi'an in Taidong town. Before and after the establishment of Qingdao, it is called "Fengtai mountain", also known as "Fengtai mountain". At the beginning of the 20th century, the German army built a fort on this mountain, which is called Bismarck mountain. After Japan occupied Qingdao for the first time, it was renamed "Wannian mountain". In 1923, when jiaoao commercial port supervision office sorted out the place names of Qingdao, it was named Qingdao mountain. In June 1984, Qingdao municipal government decided to build Qingdao mountain into a park.
In the planning and design of the park, the characteristics of Qingdao mountain are used to set up four scenic spots in spring, summer, autumn and winter, and the peak climbing area. On the southeast side of the mountain, a "yirande" viewing Pavilion is built; on the four sides of the mountain, four groups of landscape walls are built, namely, "Zhichun", "cuibo", "lanqu" and "Meiyou"; on the north side of the mountain, a "Snow Mountain" is built, with children's amusement facilities. Trees and flowers are planted in the wall according to the change of four seasons to form a unique seasonal scenic spot.
The total investment of the project is 385700 yuan, and 51587 trees and shrubs are planted.
Units participating in voluntary construction projects and voluntary tree planting include: Qingdao No.1 Light Industry Bureau, Qingdao No.2 Light Industry Bureau, Qingdao Machinery Industry Bureau, and the air force of the North Sea fleet of the Chinese people's Liberation Army.
1996
Qingdao municipal government has restored the underground shelter of the former Fort site. There are 42 rooms in the shelter, and the tunnels crisscross, leading to various rooms and exits. The cave is divided into upper, middle and lower layers. The upper layer is for observation station and water well, the middle layer is for command room, dormitory, warehouse and motor room, and the lower layer is for ambulance station, kitchen, generator room and boiler room. The layout is reasonable and the efficiency is convenient. At the same time, the exhibition hall of Qingdao mountain Fort site was built at the southeast entrance of Qingdao mountain park.
1998
Qingdao shanpaotai site has become a provincial and municipal patriotism education base and national defense education base.
