Taicang Zhenghe Park

Zhenghe park is the first theme park in Taicang City, and it is a new comprehensive riverside park with "diversity and integration" and "experience". It is located in the east of Binjiang Avenue, the easternmost end of South Ring Road in Fuqiao Town, and extends to the Yangtze River embankment. Completed on July 11, 2008. On this day, Taicang held the "2008 China Navigation Festival". Zhenghe park is planned and designed by Jiangsu urban planning and Design Institute. The whole planning and design adopts the development strategies of "developing leisure" and "moderate development", and its functional orientation is a comprehensive tourism service resort with the main functions of Zheng He culture exhibition, sightseeing, food leisure, recreation and sports, and popular science entertainment. It is a new business card of Taicang new port city, which brings visitors a wonderful feeling and pleasure, a surprise and a deep impression.

It was newly built in Taicang Fuqiao Town, the anchorage of seven voyages to the West six hundred years ago, and was completed and opened to the outside world before "China Navigation day" in July 2008.

The copy of Zheng He No.2 treasure ship, also known as "two thousand materials Zheng He treasure ship", is 71.1 meters long and 14.05 meters wide. This is to commemorate the day of Zheng He's first voyage to sea in Taicang on July 11, 1945.

About the park

Taicang Zhenghe theme park is being built in Taicang Fuqiao Town, the anchorage of seven voyages to the West six hundred years ago. More than 100 machines are roaring and more than 700 workers are working intensively. The whole project has been completed and opened to the public before "China Navigation day" in July 2008.

Zhenghe theme park covers a total area of 122 hectares, with 10 projects including 11 mountains, main entrance square, music fountain, Zhenghe bronze statue, Zhenghe treasure boat, Zhenghe memorial hall, and exotic customs of Zhenghe's seven voyages to the West. Architectural style to restore the historical culture of Zheng He fleet ocean, and into the modern design concept. The exotic area reproduces the historical relics and customs of the countries and regions Zheng He visited during his seven voyages to the west, mainly including Malacca, Java, Guli, Malin, Ceylon north-south building, golumos and Mecca, with an area of 3300 square meters.

The bronze statue of Zheng He, 18 meters high and weighing more than 50 tons, is the largest in China. Holding the chart, Zheng He stood tall and elegant, grand and dignified at the anchorage of the seven voyages to the west at the mouth of the Yangtze River. The site installation workers told reporters that the bronze statue was assembled and welded from more than 100 tin bronze plates, and the installation took more than two months.

The copied Zheng He No.2 treasure ship, also known as "two thousand materials Zheng He treasure ship", has invested more than 12 million yuan. It is 71.1 meters long and 14.05 meters wide. This is to commemorate the day when Zheng He first sailed to sea in Taicang on July 11, 1945. Experts say that from a scientific point of view, this length width ratio is also appropriate. The stern of the ship has three stories, nearly 18 meters high, and the mast is 3.18 meters high, which means that Zheng He has been to 38 countries and regions.

The scenic spot is 50km away from Suzhou Guanqian Street. You can take Suzhou bus directly to Taicang or Taicang floating bridge, Liuhe river, transfer to port bus or rent to the park

The scenic spot is 30km away from Changshu zhaoshang city. You can take bus to Taicang or Fuqiao, and then transfer to the park

Ticket information: 1. Business hours: 8:30-16:30.
