Qianchong ancient ginkgo National Forest Park

Hubei Anlu ancient ginkgo National Forest Park is composed of Qianchong scenic area and baizhaoshan scenic area, with a total planning area of 2413 hectares, including 1800 hectares of Qianchong scenic area and 613 hectares of baizhaoshan scenic area. It is one of the two existing ancient ginkgo communities in China. It is a rare natural ancient ginkgo community in Central China.

Qianchong ancient ginkgo National Forest Park

Qianchong ancient ginkgo National Forest Park, located in Wangyizhen Town, Anlu City, Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, is located at the edge of Suizhou, Dahong mountain. It is one of the ancient ginkgo communities in two natural states in China and one of the key areas of "Dahong mountain ginkgo resources nature reserve" established in China. Qianchong ancient ginkgo National Forest Park covers an area of 60 square kilometers. There are 48 ancient ginkgo trees over 1000 years, 1486 over 500 years and 4368 over 100 years. At the same time, it also has five natural garden groups, such as tiannv Jingui, Zhuangyuan Gubai, Guizhu garden, Lancao road and Taohuaxi, and two natural karst caves, such as Meihua cave and Nezha cave. There are different tree shapes, such as husband and wife tree, lovers tree, children tree, mother and child tree. From 1939 to 1941, Li Xiannian led the army to fight here, and the revolutionary cultural relics such as the former site of the fifth division of the New Fourth Army, the former site of the headquarters of the Fifth Division, the former site of the Political Department of the Fifth Division, the former site of the hospital of the Fifth Division, and the July 7th newspaper office were completely preserved
