Huangshi Village

Huangshi village is located in the middle of the forest park, also known as Huangshi village. It is said that master Zhang Liang named Huangshi Gong after alchemy here. Huangshizhai, 1080 meters above sea level, has a quartz sandstone structure and a magnificent peak forest. It not only has the characteristics of Danxia peak forest, but also has the charm of Colorado peak forest in the United States.

The scenic spots here are very concentrated, especially the open and flat top of Huangshi village, surrounded by cliffs, which is the largest skydiving viewing platform in Zhangjiajie. The mumbo jumbo, Tianshu Bao box, Ding Shan Shen pin, black fir brain and Nantian pillar are the essence of the national Forest Park scenic spot. At the top of the village, there is also a "Liuqi Pavilion" viewing tower. In front of Liuqi Pavilion, there is a "star picking platform" protruding outward.

Huangshi village is one of the five boutique tourist routes in Wulingyuan scenic spot. It is said that Zhang Liang, who was waiting in the Han Dynasty, saw through the world and quit his official post. He followed chisongzi and traveled around Zhangjiajie. He was besieged by officers and soldiers. After being rescued by master Huangshi Gong, he got the name Huangshi village. It is the most beautiful place in Zhangjiajie and the largest skydiving viewing platform in Zhangjiajie.

Development history

It is said that Zhang Liang lived in seclusion behind Qingyan mountain in Zhangjiajie, concentrating on alchemy and immortality. Suddenly one day, the mountain people at the foot of the slope reported that the prefect of Wuling County received empress Lu's imperial edict to arrest him. After hearing this, Zhang Liang was so angry that he lost Dan Hulu. He led his disciples and mountain people to carry food and grass, drive pigs, sheep and cattle, and went straight to the top of Qingyan mountain. He set up camp, set up barrier cards, made swords and arrows, and vowed to fight with the prefect of Wuling county to the end. A few days later, as expected, the leader of Wuling county's Taishou, sanganwei, fought against the stronghold. Zhang Liang faced the danger. After 49 days of siege, Zhang Liang was still unable to be captured. The prefect was in a hurry. He cut down trees, laid hay, and attacked by fire. But the precipice is too high, the fire stuffing can't go up, and the fire attack fails. In a twinkling of an eye, he ordered Baoshan to be besieged for three months, trying to starve Zhang Liang's men and horses to death on the mountain.

This move is really powerful. The food transported up the mountain has been eaten up, the pigs and sheep have been killed, and finally the cattle have to be killed to satisfy their hunger. When he had eaten up everything he could eat, Zhang Liang had to ask everyone to collect the bones of pigs, cattle and sheep, burn them in the fire, grind them into bone powder and wash them with water. Finally, the bones were eaten up. There was no more food to eat, and some fell down hungry and couldn't get up. At this critical moment, Zhang Liang thought of Huang Shigong, who gave him the book of war. He had to ask the division to help him out. So he lit a candle and money paper, knelt down on his knees, and bowed to heaven to ask for his teacher. Strange to say, after three bows, a stream of white smoke suddenly came out of the ground. In the smoke, an old man with a white beard appeared. He was whisking the dust in his hand. Wave in the air a few times, and slowly shrink from the white smoke. The white smoke is gone and the old man is gone. Kneeling on the ground, Zhang Liang is confused. Suddenly someone ran to report that three carp had jumped out of three small pools on the mountain. Each one weighs more than 80 Jin. Zhang Haosheng is strange. It's not much bigger than shuidang where cattle lie in the bath. How could he jump out of a carp weighing more than 80 Jin? 7 he ran to have a look. Three big gills were carried to the shore. The apprentice, whose eyes were so hungry, said with endless joy, "master, brothers are all hungry. Cook the three carp and eat them!" Zhang Liang pondered for a moment, shook his head and waved his hand and said, "no!" the brothers were so surprised that they opened their eyes and asked, "why, this fish can't be eaten?"

Without any explanation, Zhang Liang raised his hand like an order and said, "throw the three fish down the cliff!" the starving brothers were eager to eat some raw fish. No one could understand why they had to do this. But dare not disobey, lift three fresh carp, but fall to walk toward the cliff, one by one to throw down. The fresh fish fell on the cliff, and the soldiers were so surprised that they reported to the prefect. The prefect came to have a look. It's like a pig's urine bubble with a blow. His face turned pale and he was paralyzed all over. He waved his hand and said: "don't surround, withdraw..." The soldiers said suspiciously, "why not surround them?" The prefect said disappointedly, "if there are still seven or eight Jin carp in the village, can they besiege and kill people?". The guards on the cliff were surprised and happy to report to Zhang Liang when they saw that the soldiers of the prefect had withdrawn. Zhang Liang said happily, "you don't know that my master, Mr. Huangshi, gave it to Tianyu. Help me! "At this time, the brothers suddenly realized, deeply admired Zhang Liang's great wisdom and great plan. It's sunny after the rain. Qingyan mountain people live and work in peace and contentment. In memory of his master, Mr. Huangshi, Zhang Liang named the unnamed mountain stronghold Huangshi stronghold.

Main attractions

Huangshizhai is more than 1200 meters above sea level. It covers an area of 200 square meters and is surrounded by knife cut cliffs. It is the best largest viewing platform overlooking the sandstone peak forest landscape and the best place to watch the sunrise.

Huangshi village is also called Huangshi village because the whole mountain looks like a brave lion. Main tourist spots: Liuqi Pavilion, Jiexing terrace, Wuhai golden turtle, Tianshu treasure box, Tianqiao Yidun, houshuai Dianbing, Nantianmen, heizongnao.

1. Luohan welcome guests: from the south to Huangshi village, up 100 meters, you can see several stone peaks in the fir forest, with green pines and green vines on the wall, hanging like a gauze curtain. One of the peaks, with overlapping Sandstone on the top and leaning back against the blue sky, looks like arhat sitting in the south. He is bald, Round faced, smiling, and has a big stomach. He bends his knees and crosses his legs, arches his hands in front of his chest, and looks like a nod to greet the guests.

2. Tianshu treasure chest: on a west facing stone wall concave platform, on the upper right side stands a round stone column about 20 meters high. It is steep on all sides, and the top is a platform. On it there are five pines surrounded by a box shaped stone about 3 meters long, 1.5 meters wide and 80 cm thick. This stone is covered with a stone slab equal to the length and width of the box, which is like the cover of the box. It is about 10 cm thick, half of which is covered on it, and half of which is suspended in the air. The two stones are like ancient bookcases with half of the cover removed.

3. Dinghaishen needle: in the east of Huangshizhai mountain tour, looking eastward, in the green valley like a curtain, a peak stands, stretching hundreds of meters. The top of the peak is covered with shrubs like emerald, the wall of the peak is gray, and it is shining in the sun. When it rains, the clouds in the valley turn over and the fog surges like the waves of the sea. This peak, like a mainstay, stands firmly on the clouds and is indestructible, so it is named. One hundred meters to the southwest of the mountain is like a monkey head, necking and clenching his fist to peep, like sun Sikong's desire to take this sea god needle. On the right side of the trail, overlooking along the mountain stream, stands a cone-shaped stone peak with a height of more than 100 meters, which is blunt at the top and blunt at the bottom. In the morning and evening, it often appears ups and downs in the clouds and mist, just like the original shape of the golden cudgel that sun Walker encountered in exploring treasure in the Dragon Palace, so it is called "dinghaishen needle".

4. South sky pillar: 120 meters up through the South sky gate, there is a solitary peak with a height of more than 200 meters in the Southeast Yougu peak forest, just like Qingtian Yuzhu. The upper part is dotted with shrubs, the middle part is bare, and the lower part is covered by trees. The peak is round and magnificent. It is named after the south gate. Tens of meters away from the South Tianmen gate, and among the southeast green trees, stands a straight and majestic stone column with a height of more than 100 meters. One end holds the sky, the other plunges into the earth. It's a masterpiece of nature.

5. Star picking platform: at the east end of the top of Huangshizhai village, there is a mountain ridge about 100 meters out. At the end of the mountain ridge, there is a viewing platform composed of two sandstone blocks. The rock area of the base is about 20 square meters, and the height is about 5 meters; the main rock on the top is 10 meters, and the top is a platform with a diameter of about 5 meters, surrounded by iron bars, and an ancient pine like umbrella stands on it. Next to the valley, on top of the sky. Standing on the stage, the white clouds are floating on my head, and the valley and green peak are under my feet. Rainy days are filled with clouds and fog, and the surrounding peaks are infinitely changeable. When the bright moon is in the sky, standing on the platform, the sky is full of stars. On November 28, 1993, State Councilor Zhang Jinfu took the stage to view the scenery and named it. In the east of Huangshizhai, there is an arc-shaped observation platform protruding out and half hanging in the air. Because of its high position, it is close to the abyss, so it is named Jiexing platform. The stage can hold more than 10 people. When you are on a high platform and around you, you can see the wind and cloud rolling, the forest spring rushing, the strange peaks and the rocks. You can see the far water and the near view at a glance, and you can have a great victory of "going to the top of the mountain and seeing the small mountains at a glance".

6. Overpass pier: on the northwest cliff of Huangshizhai, six oval stone pillars with a height of more than 200 meters are arranged in a north-south direction in a 3000 meter long valley between Huangshizhai and yuanjiajie. The size and spacing of the stone columns are similar, and the top of the columns are platforms, like a row of piers. The middle two piers are slightly higher, and the two sides gradually lower. The top of each column can be connected into an arc. The momentum is full of valleys, like a raging river. The piers drop and appear from time to time. If there is sunrise in the East and rain in the west, it will be like a magnificent rainbow flying from north to south, forming a spectacle of double beauty with the pier. On the left side of heizongnao, in the deep valley between Huangshizhai village and yuanjiajie, there are six hundreds of meters high flat top rock peaks standing side by side, just like a row of bridge piers whose bridge deck has been removed, and like the five finger fairy mountain of the Tathagata Buddha, where the great sage of Qi Tian once hit the wall. After thousands of years of wind and rain denudation, today's magical landscape has been formed. The plane of shandun top is reliable evidence of paleoplanation.

7. Couple rock: about 400 meters up the stone path on the back slope of tianjiatai, there is a mountain viewing platform.
