Baiwa mountain is located five kilometers east of Zhongyang County, with steep peaks and emerald pines and cypresses. The Longquan Temple on the hillside is a place for Taoist activities founded in the Jin Dynasty. Xianming cave is a 350 meter long horizontal karst cave. There are three halls in the cave, large, medium and small. Stalactites in the cave are various, which can be described as a spectacle. The water beads hanging on the boulders are like jewels. If they are illuminated by light, they are colorful and beautiful. The entrance of the cave is hidden in the jungle, little known. There is an ancient building named Longquan Temple in the pine and cypress ring of wannei, which was built close to the mountain. According to the stone tablet records, it was rebuilt in 1170, at least 800 years ago. Later, the yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties rebuilt and expanded one after another, gradually forming today's majestic, magnificent, row upon row of Taoist buildings, which can be divided into two groups: Zhaoji Notre Dame temple complex and Zhenwu temple. There are more than 60 halls and pavilions, covering an area of more than 3000 square meters. Zhaoji Notre Dame temple building complex is mainly composed of three storey pavilions and stage built according to the mountain trend. From south to North on the central axis are Fushan memorial hall, stage, dormitory, Zhaoji Notre Dame temple and Fusang Dadi temple. There are earth temple in the East, Laojun temple, Sanguan temple, mountain temple and Fushan authentic stele Pavilion in the West. Each building is connected with each other and forms its own courtyard with unique style. In front of the Notre Dame Hall of Zhaoji, there is a "octagonal glazed well", which is exquisite and unique. The spring water is sweet and mellow, and the drought does not decrease, the flood does not increase, and it flows all the year round. Here, visitors vie to drink the holy water of Longquan. It is said that drinking this water can eliminate disasters, avoid difficulties and cure diseases. In 1995, samples were taken and tested, and the water was high-quality mineral water containing strontium. Today, the west wall of Notre Dame hall has a poem engraved with "zanlong spring water" with "Lingyan stone pith gushing cold Hong, a water flowing to the bottom of the stream". Jade porcelain leads to the full of fairy liquid, and gold waves lead to the bright stream. However, it is suitable for Li in prosperous times, and it is always clear if there is no famous mountain. Play to the middle of the quiet, ups and downs, nothing to ask Junping. On the east side of the building, there is "Jieshi Shanfang", which is named because the Shanfang is naturally supported by a huge stone and has the shape of "Jie". The stone plaque of Jieshi Shanfang was inscribed by Zhu Jiarui, the magistrate of Ningxiang County in 1909. Another piece of poem is engraved in the hand of Wang Jixian, the calligrapher of Qing Dynasty in 1821. The poem is "a few times to visit this Baiwa, every time due to business back to driving, now get so linquanxing, sit to see the clouds blowing Zixia.". This paper describes the unique "forest spring fog" landscape of Baiwa mountain. After the death of Ming Dynasty, Wang Wu, a county official, lived in seclusion in this stone room and studied Taoism. He was also proficient in medical theory. He had a good understanding of Fu Shan's prescription and cured a businessman's difficult disease. Fu Shan was deeply aware of Wang Wu's extraordinary intelligence. In August 167 of Kangxi, he visited Wang Wu's "Jieshi Mountain House" and became close friends with Wang Wu. He lived day and night, discussed medical skills and discussed state affairs It took one year for Wang Wu to go out of the mountain. There was a stone written by Fu Shan in the mountain house, but it has been lost. In 1759, a stele pavilion was built on the west side of the Notre Dame temple. The inscriptions in the pavilion are the original inscriptions of Fu Shan's visit to Wang Wu. The handwriting is romantic and powerful. On the other side of the stele is a seven character quatrain inscribed by an old man from Antarctica. The handwriting is flying like a dragon and the writing is flowing like a stream. The monument is irregular triangle, rich in natural beauty, and is a cultural relic treasure of Zhongyang County. In the huge rock on the west side of the stage, there is an old cypress with two branches of the same root breaking out of the rock. The cypress root is like a mosquito on the ground, and the tree trunk is like a dragon in the air. For thousands of years, it has not reduced its momentum and stood upright. "Shuangbaitai" inscribed on the boulder is still clear. Zhenwu temple, 200 meters southeast of Notre Dame temple, was built in 1667, the sixth year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in Qing Dynasty. It is in the form of residential quadrangle. There are five tall clay statues of Zhenwu emperor, Qinglong and Baihu in the hall, which are exquisite and lifelike. They are the best clay sculptures in China. In front of the lunar platform, there are two ancient pines named "Panlong pine" and "Qifeng pine". "Panlong pine" has a 10 cm wide and 2 cm deep natural groove mark from the root of the tree, spiraling to the top. It is said that there was a trace left by a dragon winding on it a long time ago, so it got the name. And "qifengsong" still has a bird nest and a bird habitat. There are also many ancient pines and cypresses in Baiwa mountain, such as longzhusong, fengweisong, Yingke pine, Wangke pine, Zhenshan cypress, qiansui cypress, wanshouhuai, and many more nameless ancient pines and cypresses. Some of them are upright, majestic and vigorous; some of them are twisted, simple and vigorous; some of them are shaped like beasts; some of them are shaped like rare birds, which are lifelike and natural. Since ancient times, these masterpieces of nature have spread many wonderful legends, which have aroused the imagination of countless tourists. It is said that the 17th day of may in the lunar calendar is the birthday of the lady of Zhaoji. Since the stage was built in 1706, the traditional temple fair will be held for three days. During the temple fair every year, thousands of people from the nearby urban and rural areas come here to visit and pray for their heirs. It is really a beautiful thing for people to climb the Baiwa mountain and enjoy the natural scenery of their hometown after working. Longquan Temple has been paid more and more attention by governments at all levels and relevant departments. With various efforts, it has carried out comprehensive maintenance and protection of the ancient buildings in baikuan mountain, and finally restored the old glory of the ruins of Baiwa mountain. Nowadays, Xiaoliu railway and 307 National Highway pass through the foot of the mountain, which makes the geographical environment superior and the traffic conditions convenient. Baiwa mountain welcomes more and more tourists with a brand-new appearance.

places of historic figures and cultural heritage
The main building of Baiwa mountain is the Longquan Temple, which is the holy land of Taoism. According to the annals of Ningxiang County published by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Longquan Temple is one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Ningxiang, which is called "Linquan dusk". There is no evidence for the early establishment of the Taoist temple. According to the ancient steles in Guannei, the Longquan Temple was rebuilt in 1171, which is more than 800 years ago. The buildings of Longquan Temple are built on the mountain, with beautiful scenery, hidden in the pine and cypress forest. The ancient architecture of Longquan Temple is divided into Zhenwu temple and Zhaoji Notre Dame temple.
Zhenwu temple, built in 1667 of the sixth year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, is a quadrangle house, which mainly includes Mountain Gate, main hall, East and West rooms, bell and Drum Tower, East and West Scripture tower, and high wall with grey tiles. The clay statues of Qinglong and Baihu on both sides of the mountain gate and Zhenwu emperor and guishe two generals in the main hall are tall, majestic, colorful, exquisite and lifelike. They have the style of the Tang Dynasty. They are rare art treasures among folk colored sculptures.
Zhaoji Notre Dame temple complex is a three story building built according to the mountain, covering an area of more than 3000 square meters, with more than 60 halls and pavilions. With three storey pavilions and stage as the main body, from south to North on the central axis are Fushan memorial hall, stage, bedroom, Zhaoji Notre Dame temple and Fusang Dadi temple. To the east of the axis is the earth temple, and to the West are Laojun temple, Sanguan temple, Shanshan temple and Fushan authentic stele Pavilion. Each building connects with each other and forms its own courtyard with unique style. The attic of the temple is simple, elegant and exquisite. It is said that every year on March 17 of the lunar calendar is the birthday of the lady of Zhaoji, that is, Longquan Temple fair day. At that time, pilgrims gather at the temple fair.
[the true work of Fu Shan] there is a rootless stone tablet engraved with Mr. Fu Shan's true work on Baiwa mountain. In 1674, Fu Shan, a great calligrapher, scholar and medical scientist, visited Baiwa mountain. He lived in Longquan Temple for one year and wrote many poems praising Baiwa mountain. He was admired by scholars of all ages.
Precious species
[Pinus bungeana] Pinus bungeana is a rare tree species in China. It is named for its snow-white trunk. Among the green pines and cypresses, white pines dot the mountain. From afar, they look like Fairies in plain clothes, floating from heaven to the pines and the blue sea, which adds a bit of charm and tenderness to the green mountains.
[brown eared pheasant] brown eared pheasant is a national first-class protected animal. It is named for its dark brown body, loose and drooping feathers, and looks like a horse's mane. Brown eared pheasant is an endemic bird in China and a rare bird in the world. The Chinese society of Ornithology also takes brown eared pheasant as its logo, which is known as "Oriental gem". Brown Eared Pheasant likes to live on the hillside and the valley with clear spring. The dense mountain forest in Baiwa mountain provides the most ideal habitat for brown eared pheasant. In the evening of summer, on the hillside of the forest, you can catch the leisurely strolling figure of brown eared pheasant and the nimble chickens
