Han Tombs in Xian County, located in Xian County, Hebei Province, is a national key cultural relic protection unit, 70 kilometers west of Cangzhou City. Xian County has been the place of king from the establishment of Hejian state in the Western Han Dynasty to the northern and Southern Dynasties. Before 1937, Xian County had a large area under its jurisdiction, with 72 tombs. Judging from the existing ancient tombs, they are mostly concentrated in Hecheng street and shiwuji township. Hecheng street is the capital of Hejian king in the Han Dynasty. Most of the ancient tombs in the Han Dynasty are reasonable. There are two characteristics of the ancient tombs: one is that several large tombs are concentrated together; the other is that there are small tombs beside the large tombs, which shows that there is a historical origin between the tombs. According to historical records, the Han Tombs in the territory mainly include Xianwang tomb, Xiaowang tomb, Liushu tomb, Liuying tomb, MaoGong tomb, Guangong tomb, etc. The ancient Han Dynasty tombs are also known locally as high platforms, such as Yuntai Mountain in the west of Hecheng street, wancen mountain in the east of Xiaotun village, Jiulian Mountain near jiuzhangzhuang, Baicao mountain near Fuzhuang, Wuwang mountain near Dou santuan, Danling mountain in the west of Shuangling village, etc.
