Introduction to Xiandao Lake

Together with Qiandao Lake in Hangzhou and Qiandao Lake in Canada, it is called "the three largest Qiandao lakes in the world".

On October 10, 2017, Hubei Provincial Tourism Commission held a press conference to announce the "red and black list" of A-level tourist attractions in Hubei Province. Among them, 15 scenic spots such as Huanghelou and Sanxia Renjia were listed in the "Red List", while 16 A-level scenic spots such as liangzidao and Honghu Lantian were listed in the "black list", which were cancelled, warned and rectified within a time limit, or criticized and rectified within a time limit. Huangshi Yangxin Xiandao Lake scenic spot was cancelled as a national 4A scenic spot.

On July 4, 2019, Xiandao Lake scenic spot participated in the landscape quality assessment meeting for establishing a national 4A scenic spot organized by the Provincial Department of culture and tourism. On July 9, the good news came: according to the evaluation of experts, the score of landscape quality scoring rules of Yangxin Xiandao Lake scenic spot was 85.83, which met the requirements of applying for the creation of national 4A scenic spot landscape quality, passed the evaluation smoothly, and included Xiandao Lake scenic spot in the list of creating national 4A scenic spot.

Human history

There are many cultural relics and legends in Xiandao lake.

Before 450 A.D., the bell was made by Meng, Princess of Jing, in Wuzu Temple of Huangmei. But I don't know when and why, the ancient bell flew over the Yangtze River and fell to Wang Ying in Mufu mountain.

It is said that Luojiazhai, one of the four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty, is a refuge for king luobinwang to settle down and breed his descendants; and Sizhou temple, a thousand year old temple beside the village, is also said to be the destination for him to become a monk in his later years. The wujiaci temple at the foot of Jiufeng Forest Farm is decorated with white walls and tiles, carved beams and painted buildings. It is simple and elegant, and has the charm of Jiangnan.

Located in the mountains, xujialong is an ancient village that has remained unchanged for hundreds of years, giving people a sense of vicissitudes, simplicity, tranquility and purity.

There are also Xiangu hall and Dongshan temple, which are famous for their incense.

There are many models and revolutionary sites in xiandaohu district. From here came Wang Ping, he Junzhen, Peng fangfu and other veteran generals with outstanding military achievements. The former appearance of pengdehuai recruiting station remains the same.

During the period of reform and opening up, Wang Xiantian, one of China's top ten civil servants, and Wang Yuee, the winner of China's gardener award, were born again. The TV play "sky of hope" shot by CCTV not only spreads Wang Yuee's touching story all over China, but also gives hundreds of millions of people a taste of the beautiful scenery of Yangxin Xiandao lake.

Island landscape

There are 1002 islands with different sizes, shapes and characteristics. The islands are as close as they are apart, as close as they are scattered. With the change of the water level of the lake, they present different styles. A poem praises them: "you like the spring breeze, and the smoke and waves surround you with thousands of snails.".

Lake landscape: the total water area is 32 square kilometers, the water quality is excellent, clear to the bottom.

In spring, with green water as the bottom, you can see mountains and red scenery; in summer, with clear water and lotus pond, fir trees form a sea, the climate is cool, so it is suitable to avoid the Department; in autumn, all kinds of boats compete with each other, fishing songs sing late, so it is a scene of hard work to get rich; in winter, with morning fog, Thousand Islands compete in the season, it is magnificent.

Xiandao lake is located in the northern foot of Mufu mountain system, with 1002 small hills floating out of the water and dotted in the blue waves.

Within 245 square kilometers of Xiandao lake, there are deep mountains and canyons with luxuriant vegetation and sparse population. The natural scenery here seems to solidify in the ancient times.

The unique ecological environment makes Xiandao lake more fresh and simple: Wanqing lake is crystal clear, the annual transparency is more than 7 meters, and some waters are up to 10 meters, which belongs to the national first-class water quality; the concentration of negative ions in the air is 1010 per cubic meter; the daily average temperature is about 25 ℃ in midsummer and 8 ℃ in midwinter.

Natural landscape resources: according to the analysis, Xiandao lake has three A-level natural scenic spots, namely Qiandao Yanbo, Zhenzhu spring and Xianren cave.

There are 17 grade B natural scenic spots, including Zhongquan, Tongling Fairy Island, niumowang cave, Guanyin cave, lengqi cave, rhinoceros cave, Baxian cave, Luoyan mountain, the whole scenic spot, Qiandao Range Rover Pavilion, Nanshan bamboo sea, WanMu fir forest, WanMu orange, taohuajian nature reserve, xiane Wandu, Qiushui lotus pond and Yuge Wanchang.

There are 14 grade C natural scenic spots, including Taohua Island, Orange Island, Xianqi mountain, Shamao cliff, Shuanglong cave, Xizi cave, Dongjia cave, father son cave, reservoir water tunnel, Shiren cave, mang snake cave, Laojun cave, Gubao cave and Shankou cave.

Vegetation landscape

Xiandao lake belongs to the Eastern evergreen broad-leaved forest region of subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest region, the middle subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest belt, the hilly Cyclobalanopsis glauca in Southeast Hubei, and the Kao type vegetation area. The plant resources mainly include arbors, bamboos, ornamental fruit trees, ornamental shrubs, herbs, flowers, vines, etc. The plant resources with ornamental value are very rich.
